Amazing device all in the size of a snazzy watch!
Got it a day early thanks to Amazon. I got it straight out of the box at 100% charge. Took me 2 minutes to set up and connect with my LG phone. Just remember to download the Android Wear App before you expect to connect it to your mobile phone. Connects via Bluetooth.I've been messing around with it for 24 hours now and Its still at 60%. That's from changing the watch face quite often, setting up some more apps (I have a calculator, and a flashlight now!)I'm still figuring out what you can do with this thing, but so far. Emails come through (vibrate or no vibrate your choice) exteria apps such as Whatsapp and Snapchat become alerts (you can reply to the Whatssap message via the Google voice) which is quite snazzy. Weather, Step counter, Set alarms (on the phone or just the watch) Timers, it even tracks your heart rate! One thing I really like is the fact you can have google maps. I basically set it up so that everything comes through the watch. I went to the doctors last night, parked up and walked in. Not 2 minutes later I got a vibrate from the watch. Its from Google Maps telling me where I left my parked car! Pretty awesome if you've left it in a town/area you are not familiar with and need directions. It also has a GPS built in, if you need to get home via walking or driving. Weather app is pretty simple, tells you what the weathers like today or for the rest of the week. The brightness on the watch is very high. I had to turn it all the way down to 1 and even then I'd say its just a tad too bright (I'm sure it helps power save too) If you're unsure as to what to really do with the watch it gives you little tips on what you can do. Such as set reminders, show calendar, all that other jazz. The Google voice activate is also very handy - although you need to double tap the face to activate it. As an English person I've found things like Siri are awful at understanding our accents, but Google is brilliant at picking it up.The look. I find it really sleek and watch like compared to the Moto 360. The leather strap is very stiff when you get it, but after just pushing around the edges near the watch it helps fit around the wrist. I'm a female with quite small wrists and it fits perfectly on the last strap hole. Its very comfy, it doesn't feel heavy on the wrist and to be honest I barely realise its a smart watch until I get a little buzz from it showing me messages or emails. All in all, I was very skeptical about getting a smart watch - especially for the price but I think its a sound investment. I wear watches all of the time so its a perfect fit and I won't forget it unlike my phone sometimes! As I guess, an early adopter of the technology I think its very useful, even if you aren't some high flying business guy who needs to work 24/7.

Generally a good watch
I have been wearing the watch for a few weeks and most people haven't noticed that it is a smartwatch. This is what I wanted, a smartwatch that looks like an ordinary watch. However, this might also be a comment on how unobservant people can be, because in poor light the dimmed screen glows. It is solidly build with a good screen. As other have said the strap is a little cheap looking, but only when closely examined. The charging dock is poorly designed. The watch is held in place by a magnet. If you are expecting a satisfying click as the magnet pulls the watch into position, you will be disappointed. Twice when I first had the watch, it was in slightly the wrong position and did not charge. However, the good battery life meant I could still use it.Battery life is excellent, easily two days; but I am not demanding. I really just want it as an additional alert, because sometime I don't hear my phone when it is in my pocket. Also for WhatsApp, Email and Text alerts.Android Wear is frustrating to use (or steep learning curve, take your pick) and buggy. There is a lot of swiping in various directions, which can be annoying when you are just wanting to get back to the watch face as soon as possible. My HTC M8 started to have unexpected shutdowns just after I loaded Android Wear and a few Android Wear third party apps but lots of updates are issued. Before that it was rock solid. An unexpected plus is the step counter built into the software. I like to see how many steps I have taken each day.I have Runtastic Pro and ViewRanger GPS both of which I have had for sometime and link to the watch but for me, there is no obvious advantage in using the watch with these appsUpdate - I have been wearing the watch virtually everyday for perhaps 6 months. Most people do not notice it, sometimes it is noticed and occasionally someone will ask about it. So it sort of blends in.It froze once, but except for that time has worked without fault and has never let me down or run out of battery. I tend to put it on the charger dock each morning when I am having breakfast. I think it only takes about 45 minutes for a full recharge from nearly flat. However, it is never less than 50% charge in the morning.Android Wear has been updates and is better than it was when I bought the watch. I now use the watch with a Samsung Galaxy S5. Changing phones was not as easy as it should have been. The new phone could not link to the watch until I did a factory reset, and then it was easy.Having message alerts is a real bonus, especially in meetings or walking around.

Good experience, but the tracking updates could be better.
