Impressive
I bought the 4 dose treatment for 4 cats and I have to say I was apprehensive to give full doses to my two18 year old cats so I gave them half a dose each. The other two are younger and weigh more than 5 pounds. After about 3 hours of them scratching and bitting I found lethargic and dieing fleas on my lap. Now I have never used a topical flea treatment on my cats before but they never had it this bad before. I have a dog, and a cat that used to live outside (took him in). My experience with Advecta plus cat flea treatment was very good, no one got sick and the fleas just fell off my cats. I will buy again.

Great flea prevention that works up to 4 weeks, Very pleased!
When we moved into our new home, there were 2 kittens, male and female, that would come into our backyard. We tried to bring them indoors but they were so used to being outdoors that it just did not work out. So, we adopted them as our outdoors cats. We took them to the vet, got them spayed/neutered and their vaccinations. They also wear very spiffy collars with their name and vaccination tag. A year later they are still with us and at night they sleep in our screened-in porch/pool. We wanted to treat them for fleas because we live in a woodsy area and, we did not want them to have any fleas for health reasons. We did buy flea prevention at the vet but, it is so expensive. After 2 weeks, I started noticing fleas on them again so, I started searching for alternatives and came across Advecta on Amazon. This product had raving reviews of how well it worked not to mention the great price. So, I had to give it a try and purchased a box. The vials look exactly like what I purchased at the vet and operate the same way. You remove the cap, press down into the vial to break the seal and it is ready to be applied. It is also applied the same way as the flea prevention from the vet. Advecta does dry faster and there is only one wet spot on their neck until it is completely dried. Now, what I purchased at the vet spread all over their neck, and took forever to dry so, I had to keep them on my lap in fear that they would try to lick it or lick each other. It just was a pain to use but, I do not have any of these problems with Advecta. Lastly, they always seemed to have an irritation on their neck from the previous flea prevention and that did not happen at all when I applied the Advecta flea prevention. No irritation, redness, or itching at all. Now for how long it lasts. It does last 4 weeks and that is when I start to notice fleas on them again as I check them regularly. Then I just reapply the flea prevention and they are good to go for another 4 weeks. This stuff is pretty good, I am very happy that I purchased it and will continue to purchase it. To sum up my review, this flea prevention not only works better at keeping the fleas away, it also does not cause any irritation and is half the cost. I also do not have to go to the vet to purchase it and just hop on Amazon to buy it and it is delivered to my door. This has worked so well for my cats that I would certainly recommend it to my fellow cat owners.

Seems good for the value but a little slow acting
I used it on a stray that hangs around a lot. Poor cat was covered in fleas and noticed fleas heavily around the eyes. Around 3 days, her scratching began to decline and noticeably less fleas around the eyes. 3 weeks in, no more fleas around the eyes, and no fleas found in her coat.

Works quickly and effectively
This worked great, I used it on all 8 of my cats 🤣 I foster so I accumulate a lot and if one gets infested…I noticed a difference in one day. Did a second treatment at exactly 4 weeks because one started to have fleas after about 3 however that was my fault because the first dose I gave him was for 5-9lbs and he’s well over 12lbs! Nobody had skin irritation. I try not to put it all in one spot but slide it down the back of the neck to the upper spine where they still can’t reach it to avoid irritation.
