Great glue for shoe repair
I use this glue for attaching rubber soles to slippers to increase wear life. One tip, be sure to let the spread glue dry well before pressing surfaces together.

Works well for shoe repair
Works and holds well. Was able to repair slipper soles and hiking shoe soles. Hoping it has longevity.

More messy than welding, but almost as good!
This stuff is more than glue. It's like atomic fusion in a tube. Make sure to read the directions, and use it properly. APply, to both pieces, let dry, THEN stick the two items together. But it's messy.

Good glue for many things- shoes-(?
This is a good glue will work with for many things. As for shoes- that is questionable? I found that for rugged everyday wear gluing the soles the hold won't last long. For a show repair on a casual wear shoe will work. For heals - the glue will work as a 1st layer. But its best to use a tack nail to make it secure after glueing.

Tacky mess.
Never worked to glue rubber soles on split Doc Martens. I got a tiny bit of the cement on part of the shoe that still hasn't dried after months. (Shiny spots in photo) Tacky mess, doesn't hold anything together, even the smallest amounts never cure. Would love to know what's wrong, but I cant imagine glue would stay tacky after months exposed to hot, dry air.
