Palourdes are THE most delicious, succulent clams and Fine Food Specialists have got a truly superior supplier. I order by the kilos and these clams arrive alive and active. There are very few cracked shells - if any - and, out of all the orders I have made, I can safely say I have probably lost one or two per order IF that before they make it into whatever we are making.These clams are glorious simply grilled with lemon and butter. Tossed into a spaghetti vongole, these fat little beauties just elevate your dish. Clam chowders - both Manhattan and New England - made with these clams are pure heaven!
