Good for applications where the bulb is exposed
I purchased these for my dusk to dawn lights on the sides of my garage. They are bright and energy efficient and the bulbs look much nicer than standard house bulbs!

Color Temperatures Not Accurate
I originally bought the 4k bulbs; extremely cool/white, more in the neighborhood of a 6-7k temperature range. I returned those for the 2700's, and while they are a nice, natural white, they are still more in the neighborhood of a 3-4k temperature range. I'm using these bulbs for the lanterns on the front porch and garage fronts. The light emission is on par with a 75 watt conventional bulb, very bright.

Good deal for nice lights
I ordered these after I saw that my grocery store wanted more than double the price for only 2 bulbs. I put them in my newly remodeled half bath and they look great.

Nice shape, and feel.
These bulbs feel like higher quality than similar models. Look good in socket, and light is a good color temp. Not to yellow, not too bluish. Perfect for our end table lamps.
