DARKBEAM UV Flashlight Black Light 365nm Blacklight Woods lamp Rechargeable

Very intense ultraviolet (UV) flashlight, has a UV lens filter to mask any phosphorescence of the UV LED modules so the beam produced is nearly invisible to the naked eye. The light beam feels warm when pointed at bare skin, it's extremely intense even though it's practically invisible so do NOT point into the eyes even with eye protection. What you Can't see CAN hurt you, so use with caution. Objects that glow under UV light glow very brightly under this flashlight. It's easy to see the color bands in US Currency ($5, $10, $20, $100 bills) with this light. It's also easy to find minerals and insects that glow under a UV light, since it's very intense and doesn't create any light pollution thanks to the UV lens filter. My only gripe would be the charge indicator. It charges on a USB3 cable, but the red blinking 'charging' indicator is distracting at night so I don't charge it in my bedroom. The green 'charged' light is also very bright and lights up the room a little bit. It's a minor gripe, but something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper like me. Very good UV flashlight, practically invisible light beam (which is Good for a UV light), causes stuff to glow Brightly if it glows under a UV light.

I purchased this light primarily for displaying a collection of fluorescent minerals. I had previously purchased a cheaper, smaller light that was much weaker, and ended up failing in less than a year of limited use. This light met, and exceed my expectations. It is solidly built, bright light, and came with a sturdy, heavy duty sheath for use in the field. The only caveat was that it took quite some time to fully charge the initial charge, at least 12 hours, but it is powerful/bright, well made, and worth paying a bit more for if you are looking for a good light.

Works fine. Plenty of light. Only problems i encountered were 1) Charging. It take more than a day to fully charge. Also it's water resistance rating is suspect. The usb-c port has a gap around it where fluids could easily enter. The power switch has a typo. It says Off/No. The red light is supposed to blink when charging

I have tried smaller, cheaper UV lights of the 390 nm wavelength and they work somewhat OK. We got a new puppy who was not housebroken so I decided after researching to give this lamp a try to look for missed puppy "accidents". I decided to pay extra for a lower wavelength and more power. when it arrived I was very pleasantly surprised by the size and heft of this flashlight. It is good sized. We waited until dark and turned off all the lights and fired this flashlight up. WOW...talk about a mixed blessing! This thing illuminated all manner of nastiness in what I thought was a clean house! Apparently, the dogs have had many unrealized accidents! and each one lit up very brightly. Gross! I am calling a professional carpet guy tomorrow! So of course, I now had to look everywhere with this magic light. Another mistake!! OMG the bathrooms. I am not even to go into it. Suffice it to say, I just want to burn my nasty house down. LOL. This thing works spectacularly. Do not shine it into your eyes...EVER. Do NOT shine it on your skin for long periods or you will get a sunburn. It is NOT a toy. It is a great tool. Use it if you dare!! Don't say you weren't warned :)

Yes, This is the wavelength that doesn't turn everything purple and lights up stains. Yes it shows stains, secret logos and strips on IDs and bills. I bought it for bow hunting. I fletch my arrows in hunter orange vanes and now when I take a shot and want to recover the arrow, I shine this light around and it lights up the vane like they are producing their own light. This is mainly useful when you take a shot at dusk. Be mindful of using this light for too long at close range as it reflects off light surfaces and will make your eyes feel like you were staring at the sun. I believe this light can make your skin tan also. if used outside, you don't have to worry too much, but indoors, use it sparingly or you will literally see what I'm talking about. Great light and I'm so glad it's rechargable.

Used for leak detection of dye for air conditioning in my car. Worked great. Also, if you want to be horrified as to how dirty your workplace is, bring it to work. 😳 Solid piece, battery lasts a while.

Works well for what I needed it for. I will say I wish it was a bit stronger and a bigger spot light area. Battery life was great had no issues, it lasted for a long time. It has a nice weight to it! Sturdy! No zoom feature on the one.

the light says its a rechargeable battery but lets get this straight. its got a 26650 battery inside, which you can take out and put a better battery. but good luck finding one. a better idea would be if the flashlight used a 21700 battery because there are great batteries available out there. a 21700 battery does fit if you buy a sleeve that allows it to fit in the wider tube which i did. now i have to wait for the sleeve to arrive and i have to go recycle a brand new 26650 it came with.

Molto efficace ma attenzione a non farsi prendere la mano perché da dipendenza controllare quanti residui abbiamo sul pavimento,divani,muri ecc. Unico accorgimento quando l'acquistate va tolto il disco di plastica dove c'è la batteria sul retro. Altrimenti sembra guasta perché non si accende . La ricarica tramite usb non mi ha portato a pensare che avesse una batteria estraibile isolata dai contatti. Il prezzo un po alto ma con la lunghezza d'onda 365 è davvero validissima. La consiglio !! ha una custodia da attaccare alla cintura con gancio e laccetto per il polso. Il manuale in diverse lingue non menziona il fatto di togliere il disco che isola la batteria 🔋

Ordered this item to highlight residual wood glue for woodworking. I use Titebond III wood glue, and was looking for a solution to help determine the presence of residual wood glue, prior to applying finish to project, as The use of mineral spirits does have its limitations. This item excels at highlighting leftover glue not seen by naked eye or by using mineral spirits. The effect is quite dramatic. Although the business end of the lamp does indeed get quite warm after prolonged use, I still rated it a five star, as it does what I need it to do perfectly. I recommend this item.
