I’m buying for a present. She’s usually a 5 do I go for 4.5 or 4?

This shoe is really big. I’m a 5 & got 5, that I haven’t been able to wear ever. So I would say 4.5 perhaps. 4 might be too small (if the feet is narrow then perhaps 4 might work as well).

Not sure of the relevance of having (or not having) a mobile phone, but I recall that the return process was excellent. I honestly can't remember if the label was included but returning the shoes was very easy.

I bought a pair of supergas here and they were a 9.5? so what size do i buy?

I ended up buying my regular size at the end but they do feel a bit bigger than other trainers I own. I tried pair half size smaller and it was definitely too small.

Without seeing them impossible to answer but the Superga logo should be embossed on each eyelet. We have bought several pairs from Amazon all were genuine if that helps.
