This roaster fit a 20 pound turkey. It was the best turkey ive ever made! Gets really hot so dont let meat touch the sides or it will burn. It doesnt work as well with smaller food though. Ill use my crockpot for that.

Wish I had this years ago!! Cooked my 21lb turkey to perfection! The meat was moist and most of the skin got brown and crispy. This is the first time I have used a roaster to cook my turkey, and I’ll never go back to the oven. I think the skin may have browned on the top if I wasn’t basting, so next time I won’t baste and see how it goes. So easy to use. (I did wash everything completely before use, but be ready for that “burn” smell on the first pre-heat, I did that the day before Thanksgiving just to make sure it was working). For my turkey I set mine to 350° for the first hour, it was already starting to get a nice browning, then turned it down to 300° until it was at 165° (about 4hrs), I then set it to warm to let it rest, and it was amazing! The wire rack made it super easy to take out the turkey for carving with plenty of juices in the bottom for gravy. Thankful for super fast shipping - I decided at the last minute to get this, the week before Thanksgiving, and it arrived Tuesday before. And clean up was a breeze, rack and basin washed off easily after soaked in a little soapy water. So happy to have my entire oven all day for sides and pies, such a huge help! Can’t wait for the next event to try the three insert pieces. They seem super functional. I do wish they were a little bigger/deeper, seems wasted space under them. I am shocked how well this worked for such a great value price. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this roaster! It is the perfect size. Bigger then a crock pot and smaller then my huge roaster. It works out perfectly for the in-between size soups and meals I often make. Looks nice and clean-up is a breeze. My sister in law ordered one as soon as she seen mine. The first thing she said was it is the perfect size!

We got this (primarily) for rendering tallow... It was large enough to fit an entire 10 lb. bag of tallow at a single shot, and it worked great... for THREE runs... While washing the pot, it slipped and bounced off the sink separation from a couple of inches. No big deal, right? WRONG. This thing is so cheap that it chipped both INSIDE AND OUT. It's THAT CHEAP. Chipping the ceramic coating renders the entire unit useless. There is no reason that a three or four inch drop should ruin the entire pan. There is no reason that the insert should have to be swaddled like a newborn infant to keep the coating from coming away from the metal, that easily. We've sent it back, and we're replacing it with a MUCH tougher NINJA. The pot is the part that determines how effective this roaster is, and it's too cheap to even consider. We hadn't even had time to test all of the advertised features... If you're willing to treat your roaster like fine porcelain in order to wash it, by all means get this. If you was your pots like a normal human being, keep shopping.

Running a non-profit kitchen, and having to budget, I find these work as well as the higher priced roasters. Will certainly purchase again!

Images shown by the seller are false advertising.Was excited to receive this roaster for thanksgiving turkey making , but as you can see, what is advertised in their images vs. What i received is very different. In their photos the lid looks to be excellent quality with bumps in the bottom for self basting, but the lid i received does not have this feature and feels like cheap tin (see image of me holding lid).Returned this product and am very disappointed.
