Brilliant!
Really good quality, sticks on easily and isn't going anywhere! Actually have this on my Yamaha electric kit bass drum to save the head so cannot really comment on any changes in sound. It's not super clear from the listing but you do actually get two pads in each pack, so it's amazing value. I went for the double size as wanted to give me an option for the future, and plus it was actually cheaper than the black nylon single pad....

Great protection for bass drums
The Evans pedal patch is a handy little product for drummers. It's great for protecting your bass drum head from wear and tear, and it also helps improve the kick pedal's attack. The black nylon material is durable and easy to apply. However, some might find it slightly changes the tone of the drum, though not in a bad way. Overall, it's a solid choice if you want to extend the life of your drum head.

PERFECT for the KD-10
After a 10-year hiatus from drums, mainly due to concerns over my neighbours, I finally bought myself a Roland TD-17 kit this year. Unfortunately, due to my heavy metal background (heel up, burying the beater), the KD-10 kick pad was marked by my beaters within 30 minutes. No other signs of wear, but with longevity in mind I immediately looked for a kick patch. Back in the day, I used Remo Falam Slam patches on my kick skins, and I saw they were highly recommended for e-kits. However, due to my not-so-heavy metal desire for aesthetics I pined for a black patch. Given the amazing price, and other great reviews, I opted for the Evans. Not only does this patch fit the KD-10 PERFECTLY, but it has taken a serious heel-up pounding for 2 weeks thus far, and remained in-tact + fully stuck to the KD-10. A+ recommended for heavy metal, electronic drummers; and drummers with an obsessive desire to keep an all-black colour scheme. :)

Evans product, brilliant as always
Worth every penny if you value your kick drum head... A must have for any drummer

Great head protection.
I always stick one of these on my bass drum head where the beater strikes. they will wear out after considerable use, but just peel it off and slap a new one on. The adhesive is very strong and I’ve never had one come off during use. Save £££‘a on new bass drum heads. Grab yourself one!

Good Evans!
This is like a double patch for your bass drum head. It is exactly that. No more no less. If that is what you want to buy, you can't go wrong with this product. Extends the life of your head and doen't make the sounds less boomy.

Not much to say at the moment
Can't say much at moment as I've not used it, however it looks as though it will do the job fine.
