Thread Protector 5/8x24 for .308 LR308 (2 Pack)

Just what I ordered

Perfect fit on my rifles and protects the threads as intended when I have them stored or the suppressor is not mounted on the rifle. I would buy them again if I need them.

This was not the thread size that I needed so I don’t want to leave bad feedback material wise and visual inspection of threads. They seem fine. It’s not top of the line. It’s not the worst I’ve seen but without using it it’s hard to leave a good or a bad review. All I can say is I’m being honest which you’ll probably struggle to find that in a lot of reviews.

Fits perfectly on my .308 barrel without a crush washer. Great just for protecting the threads. I would have preferred it to be a flat black to match the barrel instead of the gloss black. But I'm just using until the flash suppressor arrives.

Both thread protectors threaded on with no problem.

I have several barrels for a couple of custom rifles; and have these thread protectors on all of them. They're cheap and they protect the threads. They could stand to be maybe 0.063" longer for most applications to help protect the edge of the crown as well.
