Joie Elevate Group 123 Car Seat - Cherry

Car seat is fantastic.Bought two, one for my five year old to use with a seat belt, the other for my three year old to use with the 5 point harness.The harness is very awkward to adjust once the child is in the seat, hoping it will loosen in time-very difficult to lengthen & shorten to ensure the child is secure & then to let them out!Otherwise brilliant!Head/neck restraint adjusts to an excellent height which was my reason for purchase as my children are very tall-these seats will definitely grow with them.

My granddaughters are very comfortable and love the drinks holder (which is a godsend) and I would have given this seat 5 stars but I find the the button a little too far in to push down, which makes it difficult for me, but perhaps that’s because I have smaller hands than other family members who don’t find it a problem.

Really pleased with Joie Elevate car seat. Bought as a second car seat for our son so he can go in the van with his dad. (We needed a seatbelt installed car seat rather than isofix)Really easy to install and clean.Would recommend!

I can't believe other people have left such glowing reviews when the adjustment straps are so difficult to tighten! When you have an unruly toddler sat waiting the last thing you need is adjustment straps which require superhuman strength to properly fit.It's a shame because the rest of the seat seems well made. After safety an easy to adjust strap should be number one design priority for a car seat in my opinion.

The car seat is good, my daughter likes it. The only thing is the straps are a little tricky to adjust. On the whole happy with purchase.

I bought the Joie elevate for my 3 year old who weighs just under 14kg and is around 100cm tall. I previously used a seat with an impact shield but found he can now move it so it became unsafe, and i don't feel he is ready to have just a seat belt (as well as him being under the minimum weight for a seat belt) I bought this seat because the harness can be used up to 18kg so i should get a while out of it and buy me more time before using the belt alone. The seat comes in two parts that need clicking together which was bit fiddly to do as there is knack to it. It installs easily into the car and my son looks comfortable in it. My little boy is quite slender and there does seem to be a fair amount of growing room in the harness adjustment which was one of my concerns. I only marked the car seat down a star because the strap you pull to tighten the harness is really hard to pull- you need all your strength and both hands on it, and i actually pulled a muscle the first time i did it, but maybe this will wear easier over time.
