Amazing value, excellent upgrade
I purchased my car at the end of 2016. The existing bulbs on the car we're incredibly dull, so when the time came that one of the bulbs had blown I was after an good upgrade. I have a 2009 Kia Rio, so I didn't want to go to the expense of buying a HID kit. It's just not worth it on a car like that. Yes, car bulbs a very cheap nowadays and you can pick a pair up for around £5, but they are usually incredibly dull and probably won't last one winter. So I wanted go for something that would be a significant upgrade but without breaking the bank. Also my wife uses the car some evenings to do her late shift at work, so I wanted to make sure that she was safe when driving to and from work. After a bit of reasearch I opted for the Philips WhiteVision upgrade. I was a bit weary at first as they are blue bulbs and the description say that they are brilliant white. I didn't want those horrible bluish coloured headlights. But once fitted and tested they were, brilliant white. These bulbs were also on offer for £14.99, which was an absolute bargain. The difference is incredible! They illuminate the road ahead twice as much as the standard set and everything seems so much sharper, making travelling at night so much more of a pleasure, rather than a nerve shattering experience, with your hands firmly gripped on the steering wheel and face pressed against the windscreen. The pack also includes the sidelights which is an added bonus. I might upgrade my fog light bulbs as well!If your after an upgrade that wont break the bank from your standard yellow/orange headlights then I would highly recommend these bulbs, you will not be disappointed and you will feel a lot safer driving at night, my wife definitely does.

It fits, super strong light and great quality
It has been fitted in the car for so long and never had an issue. It is really durable and works in all weather conditions. I can definitely see through longer distance now. It appears as a strong white light with great appearance and versatility.

Fantastic Value. White, Crisp Beams!
I bought these bulbs to replace the headlight bulbs in a 63' Nissan Juke. Having replaced the 'allegator eyes' on the bonnet (side lights) with LED lights (which is a fantastic idea by the way), the headlights looked laughably yellow. Nobody wants yellow lights. After a huge amount of research. Considering changing headlights with kits. Understanding how the kelvin colour spectrum works. I decided these were probably the best in the market. As it stands, your normal, yellow headlights are roughly 3500K. Estimations online as to how this scale works and looks vary wildly. As does the legality of bulb upgrades. And I can safely say that the claims made by almost every brand are somewhat exaggerated. You need to keep in mind that the 5000K+ bulbs on the market, however attractive as they are, are technically not road legal. Additionally, they are likely not to pass an MOT. So these bulbs provide the highest rating of 4300K while remaining legal and MOT approved. They look fantastic. Let's say it now. Compare them to the standard yellow bulbs (I changed one and tested them) and it is outstanding. They do look like HID or Xenon type lights. Crisp, snow white beam with a slight (very slight) tinge of blue at the edges of the beam. They are not HID or Xenon. Looking at the lights in their housing they are distinctly whiter but not as white as my side lights (which are 5000K for a very crisp effect in the dark with the headlights off). The lights in their housing look much better than standard lights of cars around you but they don't look like Xenon, but do pass for HID! That said, driving around the beam is longer than any bulb I have ever had and the light on the road, walls and other cars is white. Very white. Exceptionally bright beam too and in unlit areas they provide fantastic illumination. In summary, if you don't want to start meddling with your car too much, if you want crisp white beams with whiter looking headlights without breaking the law, these are the very best you can get and at an outstanding price.

Whiter, but not "white"
The good:These bulbs are indeed very bright, and their beam is very crisp and white. As easy to fit as any other headlight bulb, because obviously they are just standard bulbs. They also feel faster to fully light up than cheap bulbs, but I don't know if this is true or not.The bad:I have but one grumble with them, which will apply to any road legal halogen bulb, when next to LED sidelights and DRL bulbs they look very yellow indeed. However, I believe that it is not possible to make truly "white" halogen bulbs that are legal to be used on the road. I think these are as close as you're going to get without converting to HID or LED which both have their own problems when retrofitted. In my opinion, for their intended purpose, these are absolutely some of the best bulbs in their class.

Very good and a massive improvement
Changed the headlamp bulbs in a 2014 Hyundai i10 as felt they were a bit lacking and very yellow, they are def much whiter and far superior in the light throw at night. It's essential to change the sidelights as well though, I decided not to use the free halogen side bulbs that are included and I put in new Osram LED 6k sidelight bulbs which really do finish it off as the car has Standard factory LED daylight running lights under the bumper and they are very 6k white and now the headlights/sidelights match and look far more crisp, modern and with a big improvement. Our other car has Factory Xenon and whilst theses bulbs are not quite that appearance they are miles closer than before. I wonder if the reviews saying they are still yellow have not upgraded the sidelight bulbs which stay on in the headlight and will give a yellow glow regardless. No question that for the money they are a great value upgrade, the biggest grief for me was the fact you have to remove the headlight unit to gain access on the i10 but thanks to google it was straightforward in the end.
