When I was a kid mini moons ago back in the early 2000s most of the cars you'd find like this needed to be put together but nowadays comes right out the box put together minimal assembly and comes with a few spare parts it's already taken a fall down the steps and bites by a dog word of advice if you're going to go to the park to learn how to control it yeah stay away from the dogs they will Yank A little old ladies right off their feet and come flying for RC car.

Update: after leaving a less than stellar review due to malfunction, customer service reached out immediately for the opportunity to make things right. We received a new item without needing to ship the old one. So far the new item has functioned as we had hoped and we’ve not encountered any additional issues.Original review: (Two stars) My son had fun with this toy for the two times he was able to use it. Unfortunately, it stopped working. We tried charging/switching all batteries. Both the remote control and the truck light up. The remote controls the front wheels, but the motor doesn't work at all. We are very disappointed!

The media could not be loaded. Update: after posting my original review costumer service contacted me and offered to send a replacement. Replacement came very quickly. Great customer service. My review has changed from 1 to 4 starsAfter just 6 days this rc car has already stopped working. I initially got this for my dog to chase. Out of the box the car was very fast and the steering was responsive. The car always veered to the left and no matter how much I adjusted the wheels as per the instructions it stilled always veered to the left. The car was also relatively quiet until it started making this weird sound and then quickly after that the car would only move very slowly with a fully charged battery. It won't even move if its on grass, which it did very well before it started to break down. My dog does not chew or grab onto the rc car, so there is no reason as to why it stopped working after only 6 days.

UpdatedAfter contacting the shop about the connector issues. I was expecting just a new battery connector.They sent me an entire new car! That was an amazing show of support from their customer service!Highly recommend these guys. The second car has had zero issues.Thanks!OriginalIt was great! Super fun for myself and the kids! Fast, easy to control and versitile.But I noticed the first time putting the battery in that one of the metal prongs in the connector on the car that connects to the batteries connector was loose. After the second time driving it this prong came out of the connector. Having to fix this every time is kind of annoying. For this reason I've given three and a half stars. If it wasn't for this it would be a 5 star.

My nine-year-old son has really enjoyed this product. Just recently there is an issue with the steering where the wheels don’t return to center when you release the steering wheel, which makes it extremely hard to steer. Does anyone have a fix for this?

The color yellow was a must and it was BEAUTIFUL AND VERY FAST!! He loves it and so do the other kids in the neighborhood. Thanks. He learned quickly cause it's super fast don't know who enjoy it more the kids or my uncle 🤣🤣

We purchased two of these RC cars. Both had issues and one doesn't work at all. The seller is completely unresponsive to any support inquires. We called Amazon Corporate and Amazon themselves don't have any contact information for this seller. Unbelievable!!! It would seem pretty basic that Amazon would have the contact information for sellers before having them sell goods on the Amazon platform.

This is a really cool little truck for the price. I got it on sale which made it an even better deal. It seems pretty well built, rather quick, not hobby RC quick, but faster than all most anything you’ll get in a big box store. For RWD, it does best on smooth services, but manages short grass, dirt and small stones pretty well. Controller is a bit touchy, but my kid is getting use to it. My kids love the light kit. Two batteries hold up well and charge pretty quick. All in all, this seems like it is a great starter RC truck before introducing them to hobby grade
