Appears more grey than blue
Excellent paper, this paper is supposed to be toned blue, but it seems to appear more grey than blue,( it's darker than the grey tone),Other than that the quality is excellent I would purchase this again, now that I know what to expect.

Great Sketch Pad
Fantastic small sketch pad and especially if you want a change from drawing on white paper. Works great when drawing with chair coals.

Good color and quality paper
Great for use with oil pastels, charcoals, graphites, colored pencils. Love the blue tone of the paper; works particularly well for landscapes, oceanscapes, skyscapes, etc. But really, works well for any drawing. I've seen portraits done on this paper with amazing results.

The Strathmore paper is strong and holds its body. The toned papers are not stark as the plain white papers. Itโs a gentler approach for your eyes. You will notice and see.

Real nice color
I like that blue color a lot. I always buy this paper but in tan and grey.

Not as blue as expected, more of a grey-blue. Good to use inks, charcoal, graphite, & acrylics.
