Well I've used these and there are still signs of the little critters ..so not sure if you have to reapply every year. Initially it cured the problem. Easy to apply. Recommended.

Easy to prepare and apply. Only downside was it was delivered a day later than expected

Personally I'm not convinced that these work very well, if at all. I also think they are overpriced however my wife told me to order some and I always do as I'm told. I also have to pay for them.

So quick for delivery But haven’t used yet. Although I have had to use this treatment on my grass before and it works.Hoping perhaps just another treatment in the autumn and it will be solved all time

I had a 'worst case' type situation with leatherjackets in my new-build back garden. The grass was *entirely* eaten away by the time I learned it was probably an infestation of some kind; when I scraped the remaining moss with a hand rake, not only did it come up easily, it revealed a veritable hoard of leatherjackets. The ground was filthy with them i.e. approx. 10 grubs revealed with every foot-and-a-half of soil raked, and the soil had a rotten stench.I raked off the last remnants of moss and then treated the soil as directed. It was tempting to just use guess work on the amount of powder to water because the instructions are quite exacting but given that I had a bad infestation I decided to stick to the letter of the instructions and applied it exactly. I watered the soil every day religiously as directed for the next four weeks (boy was I glad to get it over with) and then waited. In the meantime I sprinkled a little grass seed down and this sprang up quickly but I decided to pull it all up just to be as sure as I could that the leatherjackets were all gone before I attempted growing a new lawn because if they weren't all destroyed, the remainder would just attack the new grass and they'd be especially hungry too. So I waited a couple of months longer.I bought another packet of Nemasys ready for Aug. and am now preparing the ground to use this. Although it's not actually necessary, I want to turn the soil over to remove stones to give the new lawn the best chance to grow given that the grass I had was turf and the soil that came with that looks to have been eradicated. In turning over the soil, I have found hardly any leatherjackets. I would estimate that 98% have been killed, unearthing just three or four in several feet of digging.In short, the product works but, as it states, it can take several months to fix the problem (and you will want to be sure because leatherjackets that turn into craneflies return to the same breeding ground to lay *their* eggs).

Last year it felt as if my garden was plagued with leather jacket / Daddy long legs. My patio at one point last October was covered in leather jackets and my lawn was developing a massive bald patch. I researched the issue and found this product - absolutely brilliant.I waited until September before I got myself some of this product, I followed the instructions to the letter and covered my lawn. October came and there was little sight of the LJs, only two or three every other day. I decided to do the same process in October just to be sure, so I covered my lawn in October. To date absolutely ZERO leather jackets or daddy long legs - fantastic!!!.This product definitely worked for me I am so pleased I bought and used it. Highly recommend.
