This assortment gives you a variety of nibs that covers just about everything you want to do in calligraphy and a lot in graphic arts. As with any basic set it covers essentials but not the frills. It can't do everything which is why they make other nibs, of course. If you need fine lines then get another set. Holders are not included so bring your own or buy a set including one. But this is a great set to cover most of the A, B, C's of calligraphy nibs.

Some of the nibs are not flush, so don’t flatten down well onto the paper even with my heavy hand. Next time I would purchase one nib at a time so I can make sure it’s not faulty.
