Worth every penny for 18 yr old cat…so thankful!
A million stars! Our 18 year old kitty can still jump…but in the middle of the night when she’s extra tired, I noticed she’ll sometimes bump her back legs on the bed frame when she’s jumps down. 🥺 Also, on the rare occasion she doesn’t feel well, she can’t always get up. Since our bed is her favorite spot, it was time for stairs.(Scroll down for tips on when to get stairs and caring for an elderly cat.)WHY I LOVE THESE plus TIP:*The purple is a perfect fit for our vibe.*The double zipper offers versatility; move the zipper to a hidden spot where it won’t scratch you or your furnature no matter where you put the stairs.*Our bed is a few inches higher than the top stair and it works perfectly.*Our stairs popped up quickly. I didn’t have to wait a day, they were up in a hour.*There is a strap on the back that I initially planned on tying to the bed frame, but for now I just have them propped up against the bed.*If it turns out we need stairs for her other favorite spots, these are the ones I will get. They come in various sizes and I like that I have color options.*As you can see, I have a night stand AND these are in front of that night stand. I was worried about where these would go and if this spot would work but it’s not an issue for me. I swing my legs off the side next to the stairs no problem.TIPS:*There are slats that you put in…the top slat in mine was nearly impossible. I should have put the slats in before doing anything else. I used a nail file to just shave a tiny fraction off the edge so I could get the slat started and then it was no problem.*I think a handheld steamer iron would help if it won’t fully expend or is too wrinkly. I recommend everyone own a steam iron…it’s great for ironing clothes AND helped with many random Amazon purchases. Mine was cheap on Amazon.WHEN/WHY SHOULD YOU GET STAIRS? I don’t recommend stairs until or unless they’re needed. Part of an animals quality of life is movement, so we intentionally create scenarios that incline our 18 yr old kitty to move. Bed on top floor, food on middle floor, littler down by the garage. If she starts having issues, we’ll happily change things to accommodate her in her older years. But I believe there are several contributing factors to her current health.1) A great vet and regular visits as needed.2) Dasuquin: It’s actually a supplement, not a medicine. Our vet says it doesn’t work on all cats, so we’re thankful it works with our sweet girl. At 16, she started to struggled getting on the bed and would miss. The vet suggested this and two years later it’s still working for her!❤️ She jumps on the guest bed and couch no issues and during daytime when she’s more lively, she still prefers to jump over using the stairs.3) I monitor her weight. She does well and her meds and the dasuquin work best if she’s within a certain range.4) Daily playtime. She doesn’t move as much, but she still asks for a few minutes of playtime. I wave toys at her and she gleefully bats at them…and sometimes even chase them.🤣5) Intentionally spacing things out to require movement.6) She can’t jump to windowsills anymore so we have claimable scratching posts in front of her two favorite windows so she can still enjoy them as she pleases.7) BONUS: she gets 4 different things all mixed into her morning wet food, including that Dasuquin. So, I got 1/2 ounce containers cheap on Amazon and use some of them to prep her morning meds in advance. I always have at least a week or more done up AND I now keep up an to date care giver sheet ready (that includes our vet contact info) so in case of emergency or if we head out for a weekend, the cat sitter knows what do and kitty gets the proper meds.RANDOM THING…ELECTRIC LITTER BOXES: We don’t have any need for an electric littler box, but if you do, please choose carefully. Don’t get generic or the kind that have a closing front door; terrible accidents have happened to cats. Instead research the proper options and if in doubt, your cat clinic should be able to suggest the safest options.

Sturdy, functional stairs for your furry friend
Our pup is 13 years old and is no longer able to jump up on the bed. As well, he is afraid to jump off. It was time for a solution. After reading other reviews, we ordered these dog stairs. They are great! Very sturdy. It took 2-3 days for us to teach our dog how to go up and down but now that he has the hang of it, he uses the stairs himself regularly.I ordered these dog 22” grey to match my comforter. I also thought it wouldn’t show dirt as much as the cream. The 22” comes right or the tip of our platform bed. We probably could have gone with the 18” and it would have been fine also.A good product which I recommend.

Nice Looking & Durable!
My older chihuahua wasn’t able to jump on the bed anymore after we got a new (taller) mattress, so I ordered this stair set. It took about 2 days to teach him how to climb them (by holding him & guiding him up until he got comfortable doing it on his own). Now he’s an absolute pro & climbs with ease! We took out the cardboard inserts that go on each stair because his claws would slide when he tried to grip. We put the inserts in the bottom to weight it a bit more. After a year & 4 months of owning this, it’s still in excellent condition & looks new! The fabric texture itself is easy for my pup to grip & soft to walk on. The dusty pink is really pretty & matches the color scheme of my room. I highly recommend this product, it has been well worth the money! (Just make sure you measure the height of your bed from floor to top of mattress before buying so you can see what size stairs you need.) Even if it’s not quite as tall as your bed, the pup can jump the last little bit onto the mattress (as if the mattress is the final stair.) 🐾🐕

Arrived damaged, will work though
Decent quality foam but the cover came ripped. They seem like they will hold my dog’s weight (15 lbs) but she hasn’t quite gotten used to them yet since I just opened the package about an hour ago. After setting them up, I noticed there is a rip on the side of the top stair. Upon looking back at the photos from before it inflated, the small rip was already there. So I’m bummed.. but they seem like they’ll work. Not really worth returning for another set unfortunately. They included hard pieces of cardboard that can go into a pocket under each stair to make it more sturdy, but I don’t think my dog likes the feeling because it makes it kind of slippery. She only started going halfway up the stairs after I removed the cardboard but they might be helpful for other dogs.

Works well at good value...
I like this product. I bought this for a small dog, but can accommodate a medium sized dog as well as it is rigid enough to deal with the weight. Build quality is good and I can see this lasting for quite some time. The foam internals are robust and does not compact when in use. The plastic inserts for the steps ensure rigidity when in use. After reading the reviews regarding expansion and quality issues, I did not have any of these. When expanding right out of the box/plastic, I was able to use this within minutes. It wasn't pretty with wrinkles but it was usable. It fully expanded within a couple of hours and the wrinkles went away in 24 hours. The seems and zipper were good with no issues. I was quite surprised of this after reading the negative reviews.Overall, the value and quality of this product is good. I would recommend.

Nice but take your time installing plastic supports
There is a little flap of fabric tucked under that’s hard to see but carefully untuck it to cover the exposed plastic end of the step support. Be careful that you don’t tear it! The stairs Will inflate in time too. I bought these stairs to replace an old beat up set. I chose these stairs for the color as it fits in with my homes dark Ralph Lauren esthetic. I like them.

Get the wider version for squatty, beefier dogs. Not super stable
Not ideal for heavier, squatty dogs. I have A 56lb pocket bully and the stairs were very unstable as she tried walking up them.
