Does the lid work without the infuser?

Tried to send a video but Amazon kept encountering a problem. Could not upload it! The lid does not fit tight with or without the infuser. Hope that helps.

I am not sure wear it is made…but I am very pleased with the quality. The description is worded correctly so I believe it is made in the USA. I look forward to my first cup every morning! The bottom of the cup doesn’t identify the place of origin…i wish I could give a definitive answer

So... the lid just sits on top? Will it stay put if I carry it to another room?

It does just sit on the cup but it won’t just slide off because it has a lip on the bottom of the lid to keep it on the cup
