A great project for kids!
I had made a couple of these first before buying them to give as gifts to some children in my congregation. They are made of very sturdy, non toxic dense cardboard. Assembly is very easy and helps children to understand how the animal is assembled. I wouldn’t give it to a small child but an older child would be capable, with parental direction, of assembling it

Good activity for elementary-age children
We love these puzzles! The directions are mostly legible and understandable for my elementary-age kiddo. I do think they are overpriced though. You also have to build them in stages so the glue can set and make it stronger. I think a fairer price point would be around $8 personally. But they are super fun to build and look at, and they make a nice decoration for any area in your house.
