I agree with many of the comments about the 'mixing & gritty' taste of the new Complan. I honestly don't know why the manufacturers decided Complan needed altering. I use an electric whisk trying to mix the new version of Complan. I was in hospital during the summer for 3 weeks & since I now have only Complan morning & night made on milk. I can not consume anything else. Apart from the mixing issue & the gritty taste the Strawberry favour is okay, tastes like strawberry & thankfully not too sweet. The 'velvet vanilla' is too sweet for a non sweet tooth. I can recommend Complan as it is the only food I have been taking twice a day for over two months & while I do feel tired it does allow me to walk my dogs & care for my grandsons so it must be giving me some energy! I am delighted to find it on Amazon as it is getting increasingly difficult to source it - it appears many supermarkets are substituting the like of Complan with protein shakes which when one is ill does not fulfill all ones vitamin requirements. Prompt delivery. Update 07/01/14 I was unable to source the version of Complan which does mix with great easy. I contacted the helpline on the box. Seemingly the newer version of this product (in a plastic packet with light green writing as opposed to a paper version with dark green writing) has received many complaints about 'mixing'. The agent told me that this is due to a change in supplier & that the lactose does not dissolve as well as the former product. On a positive note - Complan due to customer complaints are changing the formula & will soon have a new product in which the lactose granules will dissolve. She suggested making the Complan with hot water or milk as it allows the granules to dissolve. If like me you can not take Complan as a hot drink she advised to dissolve & mix the formula in hot water or milk & leave it to cool. I haven't as yet tried this but will write another review once I have. The taking of Complan hot/cold might also answer the question of why some people have no problem dissolving the product & others like me who take it cold find that it is gritty & has 'bits' (which I now know is the lactose) in the bottom of their glass! Hope this helps.

This is a great source of protein and minerals for those who are not fit to shop and cook for themselves. I would even recommend it to people able-bodied and able to cook for themselves as it it is a qquick and easy way to get all the protein vitamin and minerals you need in one place. It is also a great tasting drink. I wouldn,t be without it

Tastes quite nice strawberry Angel Delight! (with a slight edge of something else but not too unpleasant, probably the vitamins). For some reason I didn't cotton on to the fact there's cow's milk in it (of course there is!), knowing that now puts me off having it again.

Morrisons would only allow the purchase of one box - well that holds 4 sachets - hardly enough to get through a weeks shopping. If shoppers need more - Morrisons need to get with the times and order more stock - other shops do so no excuse they cant. Overall a disappointment - but not with the product.

Great if you have problems eating

Easy to prepare - as long as you don't hurry, which gives lumps. Trying this out after losing weight after a stay in hospital. Tasty, no problem in accepting it, so we shall see.

I purchased this nutritious drink for my father in law . He made no complaints after using it . I have also used it years ago with no negative issues. It's easy to mix. Has a pleasant taste. I love it

Great flavour

This instant meal replacement powder makes an amazingly delicious and nutritious light meal replacement drink. There are some inaccurate and simply wrong reviews on this product, claiming it contains Taurine in its ingredients but it most certainly does Not. It does Not have anything like that in it. It's just a healthy meal replacement and balanced nutritious drink mix. The only problem with this 4-pack Box is that it is too expensive, as $15 for just four glasses is extremely expensive. I highly recommend the actual product but I don't recommend paying the extremely high price. Get it now if money is no object for you..

The flavor was okay but not a 5/5 star it took sometime to get it

I purchased 4 boxes without even realizing they are not returnable. Opened one of them and hated the taste, smell, texture and what not. Dnt waste ur money on this please.
