Very cool to play with and very nice polished brass. Very well made with case. I had bought one and it had no case and cheaply made.

This Brass scale is really something I wanted to see. It didn't disappoint me. It looks and reacts just like the oldbalancing scales you see in vintage areas. It comes with the counter weights and the whole thing is in a small case that gives you a place to set the whole thing up for display. That is what I actually did with it. I have a small area that has some older vintage items that remind me of years gone by. This scale adds to it very well.The price was very reasonable and I am happy with getting it. I think others that want to own a balance scale, you should get one of these. You won't regret it.

It works but is for display mostly.

This is attractive and well-presented in a plush case. It appears to be for ornamental use only - it comes with various weights and the 20g weight did not perfectly balance with the two 10g weights. Nevertheless, I would be happy to display it. One quirky feature is that the base is the box itself, and so it has to be set up in the case.
