Nice set of snap ring pliers
DuraTech tools are growing on me. I think they are nicely made at a good price point. These snap ring pliers are no exception and work great. They won't work on super large snap rings, but have worked for most everyone I have come across save for very large or very small. The carrying case is nice as well if they are something you won't be using very often and want to keep them organized yet out of the way. I would recommend these.

Well-made set, but watch out for the tip size mismatch!
Ultimately had to return this DURATECH 4-piece 7-inch snap ring pliers set. Overall, the build quality, spring responsiveness, bi-material handles, and storage pouch were very nice for the price point, but there is a major design mismatch between the handle length and tip diameter. Most standard 7-inch snap ring pliers feature smaller tips for small-to-medium circlips. These DURATECH pliers come with fatter tips like you'd find on larger 10" heavy-duty pliers. Because the tips are oversized relative to the compact 7-inch handles, they wouldn't fit into the eyelets of the smaller snap rings I bought a 7-inch tool for in the first place. Overall great quality and good materials, but only buy these if you need thick 0.078" tips for larger retaining rings and prefer a shorter handle for tight workspaces. If you need standard precision tips for small circlips, nope.

Worth the price!! Which isn’t much….
Nice design, heavy enough for moderate to heavy use! If you’re diving into transmissions - either auto or manual - you’re going to run into snap rings. Like an impact wrench, these are the right tools for the job, speeding up the repairs!
