Horses for courses!
This is a slim budget tablet that is adequate for my needs. I just wanted a cost effective device to accompany me on my travels - basically emails, music, videos and web browsing. In that regard, it is excellent and I was particularly impressed with the display. I added a 128GB TF card to give me some extra storage. Sound is good and battery life is reasonable. The front and rear cameras are a tad disappointing but in good light, adequate for my needs. If you are expecting the performance of a £800 device, forget it. However, if like me you have simple requirements, then this device is ideal and at £129, very good value. It is well made and feels like a quality product in the hand. Amazon has a wide range of suitable cases available at reasonable prices 😀The device arrived with Android 12 installed though Lenovo claim they will be staging upgrades to Android 13 on these devices (but not beyond) by the end of 2023. Security updates are promised until the end of 2025.With quick delivery, I have no complaints 😉

The wife; she says "Yeah!"
Bought this 4th Gen M8 table to replace a 3rd Gen M7 after it's USB port failed to survive being dropped with the USB cable inserted. Up to that point the M7 had proved a superb tool allowing my wife to read eBooks, stream films and "shopping" tasks. The loss of the M7 was unfortunate as it worked faultlessly until it could no longer be charged reliably. The M8 had a high bar to clear, but clear it it has, with ease. Every element of the M8 is simple better being the smoother, faster performance or simply the clearer, sharper screen. If there is a downside then this is limited to the time it took to take the tablet from first power up through the many, many software patches and upgrades before reaching the final "your device is up to date" message. Worth the effort in the end.

Great tablet but unable to register it.
I use an Apple iPhone and have had iPads and MacBooks. But I must admit the android iOS is much more user friendly and easier to navigate. The M10inch looks good out of the box, is easy to operate and I like the earphone jack which the iPhone does not have as it does not need blue tooth or recharging and earphones cost just a few pounds.Navigation is easy and intuitive, you can choose between ‘gestures’ or three small icons at the bottom of the screen. I prefer the icons.I tend to use it for the same apps on my iPhone as most of them are compatible and so much easier to see. My iPhone screen is so small compared to the M10 that I only use it occasionally now.Other people have raved about the screen quality and all the features loaded on to this tablet so no need for me to say anything more except I agree. The tablet, like my iPhone, is very slippery so unless you’ve got it on a stand you really need a case to avoid dropping it. And the case is heavy; which is understandable as it’s meant to protect the tablet but as I carry mine in my backpack so it’s not an issue. For around £100 this tablet is perfect for apps, streaming, WiFi video calls and emails.I would have given 5 stars but when I went onto the Lenovo support website to register my device it did not have a ‘tablet’ option so I am unable to register it.

Perfection, but OMG, the bloatware!!!
Once again, perfection in a tablet, but it comes with a shed load of bloatware, so you get the thing set up and unless you are 5 years old, all the games on it need uninstalling.Good tablet though. Had one before, sold it and then regretted doing so.

Good size, ideal as a reader.
Great price. I use this mainly as a reader as most of my books are on Google Play Books but is a very good android tablet. Quick start-up and navigation. Good quality and size of screen and quite light. Good that it comes with a protective case with built-in stand.

Unsure for various reasons
It's clearly a very good price for a basic tablet with a jack socket for attaching wired head phones. So many tablets don't provide a headphone jack and increasing numbers of people realise now that it's important to have wired ear phones that are designed to block most of the EMF radiation going to the head and so avoid frying of brains! Wired headphones are often clearer & more reliable than wireless too. (For low price, strong & decent EMF protecting earphones, go for 'Homesta': Available on Amazon). However, I'm giving the tablet 3 stars, because I've wasted a lot of time & energy over with various associated issues.1. For reasons Amazon still haven't solved, it won't download Amazon Music.2. The charging lead they provide is silly short. 66cm. So I had to buy a longer one.3. I've had huge difficulty finding a tablet case that fits this TB-X505X tablet... Turns out that Lenovo have madenumerous models of '10"' tablets! I've already had to return two cases bought on Amazon, apparently sized for for the tablet, as they were two small.Aside from the heavy plastic, open-front frame types, made for children or for walk-around work, there seemed to be just one company (Fungar) remaining here that I could try for a normal zip up case / stand. Personally I find their colour options rather unattractive. Also I could be waiting a month for delivery from China! So in case that one doesn't fit too(!) if anyone reading this can suggest other makes, on or off Amazon, that would be a help to us all, thanks.4. As for Lenovo 'Customer Services', I wouldn't waste your time and energy! You can choose between a hopeless AI 'chat' on website, or if you can find a phone number, attempt a phone call. I couldn't see phone numbers on website, despite the idiot level AI telling me to look! So had to do a web search. Once I called them, the spoke wait time kept extending and after an hour I gave up! (Hopefully I'll have no future tech problems!). I was calling them to get advice over where I could buy a case to fit their tablet.
