Dynaudio Xeo 2 Active Wireless Speakers (Pair) - Black Satin

XEO 2 speakers arrived efficently via Amazon Premium delivery. Really pleased about purchase of £800+ speakers well loved by What Hifi. HOWEVER the box had the silver manufacturers seals broken and had various carrier labels stuck to it. It had been returned at least once! Power lead cables were not UK ones or even EU. Also one speaker was packed upside down in box. Since speakers were not cheap and supposed to be new with correct cabling so I went to customer service and arranged collection and refund. Very disappointed. Without the right cables I dont even know if they worked.

For there size they are very impressive. Very nice with vocals, the highs were ok but nothing special. Bass wise. A cabinet of this size is going to strugggle no matter how clever that manufacturing technique.For a pc or kitchen they would be great. But they are overpriced for that. As a main Hifi. They just don’t have the frequency range.The biggest issue for me that the speakers had clearly been used before. The box had damage from being previously opened. The bags the grills came in were clearly not the original ones. Very naughty to sell something as new when they clearly weren’t.

These small speakers placed on my desk transformed my study into an audiophile listening room! The sound is so detailed, transparent and enjoyable that I spend more time on proper listening to the music now. Had to buy a comfortable armchair to complete the setup.

Avoid. Really bad sound quality for the price, my £300 soundbar sounds better. Tons of issues with connectivity, right speaker disconnects randomly when using Bluetooth; cracks and pops when using optical cable. Also my pair didn't even come with UK power cables, had to contact the distributor to get them sent to me.

I bought these speakers for my desktop PC. Saying they sound great doesnt do them justice, they sound really amazing. However, the come at a pretty steep price.One of things that I found out is that there is no way to set up some of the parameters for these speakers, for example after how long they should go to sleep. This creates a problem for example if you intend to use them with a bluetooth device like a phone. The speakers will go to sleep after a while and the device cannot connect to them in order to wake them up. Thankfully, this is not the case with AUX since the speakers will wake up as long as they detect any input.Overall, great if you intend to use for a home theater setup or desktop computer but quite pricey.

Great sound, but used in a cinema set-up the speakers seriously disrupt the SkyQ WiFi signal meaning the mini boxes elsewhere in the house do not work.

Was looking to buy a pair of wall brackets for my pending Xeo 2's , but thought this was a ridiculous price for a couple of small metal brackets (even with £10 off rrp on Amazon)!

- and indeed your ears may as well, since it is utterly astounding the kind of sound, which is delivered by these tiny boxes. I have only had them for a very short time so far; Out of convenience I tried the bluetooth connection first and I am bit stuck there, yes I could probably get better sound from my CD player via one of the wired connections, however it is just so much easier streaming from my smart phone.Try these if you are limited in space and try them even if you are not and you will discover that speakers do not need to be big for them to sound good. Dynaudio has bigger speakers, they sound better, but then with a different price tag, hence you may choose to save some money in the process.

Je ne discourrai pas sur la qualité des enceintes. elles sont bien et compacts, le spectre est fiable et flat. même si je soupçonne qq bugs du firmware, je verrais avec le site si il y a des MAJ.Cependant... Quand on commande du neuf, on n'envoie pas du reconditionné ! et surtout du MAL reconditionné, cartons à moitié ouvert, recollé a la va-vite, caches des HP enlevées, protections a peine refermées, etc... si j'ai prit du Dynaudio (que j'ai déjà en version professionnel ) c'est aussi pour leur sérieux ! là je suis déçus c'est clairement de l'occasion venant de "l'étranger" car manuel que en Anglais (heureusement que je le parle) et aucun câble électrique Européen ! (20 € sur Amazon à ma charge) c'est un comble pour un produit Danois ! sérieusement je mets rarement des avis négatifs mais à plus de 800 balles on attends un minimum de qualité et sérieux. j'attends un geste commercial pour un tel manque de considération !

J'avais besoins d'enceintes compactes avec un minimum de présence dans les bases.Malgré un période de rodage (visible très nécessaire) qui a un peu améliorer les choses le final n'était pas la hauteur de mes attentes.Télécomande trop directrice (il faut être devant l'enceinte pour que ca fonctionne)Système sans fil entre les enceintes très bien.Connexion BT qui fonctionne bien mais compliquée...

Sembra di essere tornati agli altoparlanti degli anni 80 montati di serie sulle utilitarie,quelle con il cono di carta.Suono piatto,nessuna possibilita' di regolazione di alti e bassi poi per questo prezzo!

I needed for my workstation new speaker which could fit between pure Monitor and Audiophile speaker. After testing a few including the KEF Active speakers I decided to go for the Dynaudio. First of all, the build quality is definitely on the high end. The installation pretty easier and smooth (plug and play). I have to say I was and am still pretty happy with them.The only issue I got with them is connecting them by Bluetooth on iOS device which was part of what I needed. Basically, for some reason, when you have them connected to your iPhone and stream via bluetooth from one of the service (Tidal, Qobuz, etc) as soon as you switch to another song, the connection between the phone and speaker stops. You have to reconnect again and it will stops again when you change song. I have no clue why this happens but I did test on various iPhone. Note that with the XEO 20, that issue does not occurs. My XEO2 runs the last firmware. Dynaudio support seems to think it may be an issue with iOS bluetooth.I think you should be aware of it in case your main objective is to stream by bluetooth from an iOS. Solutions to by pass this issue exists (use of Dynaudio Connect, use of Apple TV 2/3, use of another streamer...) but all are additional costs. For that reason I only give a 3 stars.
