LYRA 4-Colour 3 x Giant Super Jumbo Colouring Pencils Natural Wood Finish

The pencils are a slightly different design to what was advertised. They are triangular and called "LYRA Super FERBY 4-Color" instead of being hexagonal and called "LYRA Color-Giants 4-Color" as advertised. The pigments, however, appear to be identical, which I can tell because I have a hexagonal one for comparison. Maybe change the title and picture on the product page if its a new version.These pencils are good quality and fun to use, I'll be buying some more in future.

Love Lyra crayons. My 6-yo loves writing in multicoloured colours with these!

Bought as a Christmas present for grandchildren, so unsure of quality just yet, but look okay.

I bought these as I wanted some extra thick pencils to make rubbings of markings on Roman tile and needed to replace the one I stole from son (it's OK he doesn't need it now he's 30). These lyra ones don't seem to work quite as well as my original Knabber Nossi, but may improve a bit once the lead has been worn down fully from the point they arrived with. They are too large to sharpen in the average pencil sharpener, so you need to either find a sharpener they will fit, or use a scalpel/penknife.I imagine children would be quite happy with them - it is possible to get lines of a single colour or create multi-coloured effect,though the size of each colour is variable and one or two can dominate over the others. I'd personally prefer a darker blue, though I expect most children would be quite happy with the bright blue.

Nice thick pencils, change their angle for a different rainbow combination.

very pleased with them, one pencil easy to slip in bag and keep a child happy.
