I spent a while looking for a good basic toolkit for my sister (having recently bought a house) and settled on this one based on a good brand name and reasonable price. Despite some fairly negative reviews this is a great wee toolkit - obviously not designed for tradesmen but a sound starting point for any household. The tools are basic but of good quality and those that are included will cover many jobs. As stated in some reviews, hammer is small (7oz/approx. 24.5cm in length) but probably more useful than a larger hammer for many people - at the very least, it's a good addition to any household; multibit (magnetic held) screwdriver feels secure and has a good sized handle/useful range of bits; precision screwdrivers are perfect; spirit level and metric tape are of lower quality but useful additions, pliers feel good; Allen keys (metric and imperial) are small but okay for general use and the basic assortment of hardware accessories (screws etc.) are handy additions and come in a useful box that can be reused for other essentials when finished with the enclosed pieces: carrying bag is good with plenty of room for extra tools yet small enough for easy storage - I added a pair of snips, utility knife, range of small spanners and a 1/4" ratchet set (amazing how spares build up over time) to the supplied set and the bag's only about half full. Impressed with this wee toolkit (as is my sister) so highly recommended as a starter/general household toolkit - extra 5th star given because of value for money.

Bought this for My sister for her new apartment. She mentioned she had no tools for any diy jobs. I read reviews on this and seemed good, Stanley is solid mostly anyway. She was delighted
