Atkins' Physical Chemistry

The book is very useful for undergraduate and postgraduate students studying chemistry or any chemistry related modules/degrees. All information was clearly represented and carefully explained.

This book is great and my lecturers formulate their questions in the same style as this book, I just wish they made a Kindle version of this book or a PDF because it's a big book and weighs a ton... I can't carry it anywhere and for some reason they just don't make a Kindle version for some reason.... only complaint I have for this book, otherwise It's a must have for an undergraduate.P.S. If anyone stumbles on the PDF of this edition, send me the link! Help a guy out.

Good book for Physical Chemistry ! A reference !

I needed this book for class and at first I was skeptical of buying the international version ( I wasn't sure if the edition would match), I ended up trusting one previous review of the book and bought it.Although I haven't compared the book word for word with the American edition, I think this book was excellent. The quality was great, and I am 99% sure that the book is exactly the same as the American edition. I actually liked that it was paperback (easier to carry) and this book had all, if not most, of the volumes in it. I paired this book with the American version of the solution manual and I had no problem whatsoever. I used this book for my class (in the US) and encountered no problems. In addition, this book (which has most volumes in it as compared to the American version that sometimes only has one volume) was a lot cheaper.

Very good book for clearing on doubts on Physical Chemistry. This is not a text book for IIT-JEE, use it as a reference book.

Atkin's "PC" is one of the best books to assist and complement your PC studies. It will even be very useful without proper lecture notes, but you should be aware of the focus your PC department sets. Do not expect this book to cover all topics in depth up to M.Sc. level, but be reassured that it will give you a comprehensive knowledge and understanding clearly beyond B.Sc.The writing style is motivating to fascinating, and the explanations are clear. If you need some mathematical "brushing up", you will find concise support at the end of each chapter. Text layout and graphics are well done. Personally I prefer books with images and systematically applied colour to help with the (often abstract) content.The cover is rather thin cardboard, if you plan to carry this book with you a lot, you should consider some kind of lamination. The binding is quite good, not only glue but also with thread.

New edition of Atkins Physical Chemistry. There are so many improvements in this book, and it is, easy to read.
