R Oil Cold Pressed Rape Seed Oil 5 Litre

I've read both the good, and the bad comments about this oil and still I ordered it to make my own judgement. The oil does indeed have a stronger smell than my previous oils but it cook absolutely lovely. Great taste and no smoke. Went really well with my new Deep fat fryer! Best of all no processing with toxic chemicals like the cheap supermarket brands!****UPDATE**** I just love using this oil and have yet to change it as it's still looking fresh. as for the mell some people and myself noticed, it dissipates after the first few uses. I would gladly recommend this oil to anyone.The ONLY PROBLEM I encountered was the condition AMAZON delivered this item in... all Bashed up !! Whats the matter with your delivery drivers, it's luck the tin wasn't leaking!

A great British farmed oil, which is lower in saturated fat than olive oil. It's quite thick with a beautiful golden colour. Been using now for a couple of months, and it's lovely to cook with. I see no reason to return to Olive Oil for cooking.I have also made my own garlic and chilli oil with this as a base, just used an old gin bottle cleaned out, added generous amounts of peeled garlic cloves and dried chilli, filled with oil and left for a few weeks. Absolutely amazing.I'm now on my 4th can and also set up subscribe and save, at £1 a litre it's great value no to mention quality.

Swapped to rapeseed oil for deep frying a few months into lockdown after buying a fryer and haven't gone back. Personally I find the taste is just superior to other oils. Couldn't get hold of my usual brand of rapeseed oil in such a large quantity so decided to give this ago. Made several batches of chips for friends and they tasted great. The can was delivered promptly and in good condition. Overall would reccomend this to product.

This is a really great way to get rapeseed oil in bulk. We changed over entirely to rapeseed oil from olive oil about 4 years ago and have never looked back. This oil tastes lovely and can be used in everything from salads to fried/roasted food and everything in between. It is a healthier alternative that you will never regret - and that isn't often the case!The only difficulty is decanting it into our bottles for use in the kitchen. It has a very awkward spout and doesn't pour easily without going everywhere. I find that using a small funnel with it helps a lot, but when the container is full it is easier to do slowly and with 2 people.Fabulous oil at a really nice price - and it is even better through subscribe and save. Arrived in one piece and quickly. It would be a definite 5 stars if they could sort out the spout arrangement.

I have seen/tasted a lot of rapeseed oils but it was refreshing to see this brand at such economical price. I purchased 2 X 5L cans and arrived promptly within 24 hours. Excellent packaging all around.The taste was far less subtle than some of the other brands. With a mild flavour, the taste was excellent. I used it in my first curry that was cooked in a pressure cooker and the oil amalgamated the spices well. Unlike other oils, this oil did not seep into the meat as much.Overall, very pleased and will be recommending to friends/family.

Lovely colour and aroma. I use it in bread making so a neutral flavour is a must. A very nice drop.

Tastes fine but due to short nozzle impossible to pour without getting oil puddle at top of can. Also due to nozzle impossible to pour small amount or you get even bigger puddle of oil. Picture shows after single pour. Has to be cleaned each time or you end up with a load more oil on can top 😕
