Does the top of the 18cm uSelect Pepper Mill become loose after a while?

I have a similar sized pepper mill and if mine becomes loose I just hand tighten the knob on the top.

Is there not a matching size for the 18cm pepper mill?

Yes there is. I have the dark wood for pepper and the light one for salt

I have had a Peugeot pepper mill for a year or more. Initially it didn't grind but in the instructions it tells you to adjust the knurled knob and the base to make it grind coarse or fine as you like. Hope this helps.
