It’s definitely a solid item, feels heavy and good quality my only problem is it’s too light compared to the brushed gold look I am going for. Sadly will be returning. I’ve attached pictures comparing the gold of this item and my faucet. Hope it helps. If your searching for a light gold then I would recommend.

This arrived quickly and was securely positioned in foam. The hardware feels solid and heavy, which is exactly what is wanted AND needed with plumbing hardware.My one caveat, is that due to another helpful reviewer, I began researching plumbing code on this style of trap.Unfortunately, the bottle traps are not to code in California (where I’m located) except under certain exclusionary situations. 😔While on some things I like to be a rebel—I absolutely do not take chances when it comes to something like sewage gas potentially leaking into my home and putting my family at risk.I haven’t deducted any stars for this, since this is not the seller’s fault. As with any item, there are different laws in different jurisdictions, etc. The trap alone is gorgeous, and I wish I could use it!! The kit also comes with EXTRA washers (see second picture)!! Added bonus. Anyone who has done a home plumbing job will appreciate this subtle but very much appreciated gesture.I will still be able to use the kit for parts on my plumbing project, so that’s good, at least.Overall, for anyone who is looking for a quality trap option, this company is consistently amazing. This is the second kit I’ve seen from them and I’ve been happy with both. I just wish I could use this style.

I really like this set and wanted it to work, however the extension pipe from the sink to the p trap is incredibly short, as mentioned in other reviews.

attractive piece but needs a longer extention tailpiece. We had to raise the drain in the wall 2" to make the connection. A 12" extention piece instead of 6" would have been a lifesaver.

I've been slowly upgrading my bathroom from older chrome faucets and plastic p-traps to black hardware. After changing the faucet I chose to upgrade the plastic p-trap with this black bottle trap. I've replaced bottle traps before and this one actually has a nice weight and feel to it. Prior ones felt cheap due to their light weight. It was easy to replace the traps, luckily all the tubing matched. It was easy enough to adjust the height of the trap. The trap itself is solid and does not leak or have any issues.
