Q: How does this compare to lg gram +view? is color acurate and good sharpness as well? i bought lg gram + view 16" but that's twice the price..

But the EVICIV portable monitor is 2K, 500nits brightness and 1500:1 contrast, which makes dark colors darker and the brightest colors even brighter, you can enjoy any content in stunning color accuracy and detail. Q: Does anyone have stand recommendations for this monitor to raise it up??

If you don't care about portability, any vesa compatible stand will work. To maintain travel, there were a few collapsible tablet/monitor stands that say they will work with monitors of this size/weight. Honestly though afterter working with these for a while I would recommend a simple tray table style monitor riser that folds. The magnetic cover/stand works decent enough. Last option I considered was building my own out of shelving u-channels, some brackets and wing nuts, but I haven't done it yet. If you find a real folding portable monitor stand that's light weight please share.

The monitor is light weight. The cover has magnets. Together they both likely weigh 3-4 pounds (I don't have a scale). I am extremely impressed with the screen quality and brightness.
