We ordered the pro prep block (30”x24”x6”) of end cut maple. Wow! It arrived in just a few days. It’s a massive piece and of solid construction. The edges and corners are nice beveling. The big story is the grain that is consistent and classic.

Decided to wait a year to write a review due to people complaining about wood cracking and warping.After first buying it in October of 2020, I read some review advise to apply oil seven times (allowing to dry overnight between each application), then applying Board Cream once. Since then, I apply Mystery Oil once every few months.I’m really pleased with the product: it looks great, it ages well, it doesn’t show much scoring despite how much I’ve used it.Note: when cutting wet fruit and vegetables, I always dry it after I’m done with food prep, so the water doesn’t sit.A year later, the block is in great shape! No cracking or warping. It has its own unique character and I feel like we have an heirloom product.

Stop whining about how much this cost, OMG! Is this an immaculate cutting board, come on pay attention! This board will help you under and celebrate who you are and that you deserve this experience!Stop worrying, you don’t need the plastic cutting boards anymore!
