TRUE Plasma Lighter, Black/Orange, One Size

Works as advertised, and charges via my USB-C MacBook charger. Many of these type of devices will refuse to charge from a MacBook charger because the electronics inside are too cheap to properly handle the voltage. Thankfully this one does work, meaning I have one less charger to carry. I also love how the neck is retractable, makes it super nice for lighting candles or using as a traditional zippo style lighter.

My first plasma lighter. Glad I made the switch and will not be buying butane lighters any time soon. Gotta be a lot more healthier, that is another reason to switch. Also glad I chose this. Built like a tank but the price is that it is a little more bulkier. Doesn’t hurt for a pocket but is a little bigger than a woman might like in a compact purse. The charge is long enough but as a survival lighter it would not be long enough. Charges very fast so it is no problem anyway. Built with a lot of thought in the design. Been used a lot for a month and a half with no problems so price is fair for the above average quality and would buy again. The extension is really nice to light a short stub so you can see the end plus it saves on the mustache.

Nice and easy to use But I think that it would be better if it had a holder of some kind to lower the extension after using it Because of the possibility of it still being hot after use I don't know how long to wait to lower the extension ? Few seconds or ? Do I want to touch it right after lightning it or wait? and for how long?

Love everything about this lighter except for a few criticisms. There is no "low-battery" indicator so you can suddenly be without fire. Secondly the battery life could be inproved upon so this scenario didnt occour as frequently. Lastly and most importantly, the single arc often is not enough heat to really get something lit efficiently. A double arc would get me to re-order an upgraded model.

if you spend a lot of time outdoors hiking, hunting, fishing and camping you'll inevitably need to start a campfire in wet and windy conditions. I use the plasma lighter with a small piece of coghlins firestick to get a flame started. No more dealing with wet matches or butane lighters that don't work when you want them to. The plasma lighter works in wind and wet conditions. Case locks down while carrying to keep moisture out. Makes for a great gift for anyone that spends a lot of time outdoors! This lighter is not for lighting cigars.
