ASUS ZenWiFi XD5 AX3000 WiFi 6 Mesh Router (3 Pack), Coverage up to 7500 sq ft, Subscription-free Network Security, Advanced Parental Control, Instant Guard, VPN, 3-Step Easy Setup via ASUS Router App

The product worked well and was easy to setup

Absolute rubbish download speed, and poor distance!, the coverage is patchy at best, despite installing the mesh router by the book. Tried a speed test, and the result was shocking- My old Deco reported speeds at around 75 Mbps which was fine, but the range wasn't very good, and that's why I bought this, it promised faster download speeds and a greater range- a claimed coverage of 7500 ft, in which it achieved BUT the download speed is very very poor.. I'm going to try again from the very start, but to be honest, I don't give it much hope and so it might have to be returned....very disappointed, EDIT.. after giving up with this system, I set up up my old deco system again, and I ran another speed test- here you can see the difference..

Got BT Full Fibre 900 and got this to replace my BT SH2. My BT hub was getting 1.1Ghps via Ethernet but when iPad was right next to my router using wifi, was only getting around 220Mbps, once switched over to the XD5 (which was fast and easy) was getting over 700Mbps. So super pleased with this. Probably due to the fact BT hub is still wifi 5 and the ASUS is using wifi 6. Overall it has increased my wifi speed all around the house, 3x the speed I was getting with my BT hub.

Stable mesh Wi-Fi after 6 monthsHad the ZenWiFi XD5 3-pack running for about 6 months now and it has been rock solid. Worth noting I am using it in access point mode behind my own router, so I am not making use of the built-in AiProtection or routing features. For my use case it is purely about coverage and performance, and on both counts it delivers.Coverage is excellent throughout the house, speeds are consistently strong, and I have not had a single dropout or reliability issue since setting it up. Setup via the ASUS app is mostly straightforward, though the initial configuration could be a bit clearer in places.Only real downside is the price. Not cheap, but the hardware quality and reliability justify it if the budget stretches.

Due to the router been located in the corner of the house we could not get wifi in all rooms.I tried several solutions including boosters and power line carriers but they had stability and speed issues requiring the system to be rebooted very regularly. After purchasing these, i have stable, fast wifi everywhere and have not had to reboot anything to date.

Good range but the support as usual with ASUS is non-existent. Claimed warranty expired & wanted the serial number, which it turned out is hidden away in the flimsy documentation. Then had to upload the Amazon receipt yet 3 months on, it still shows as warranty expired.Satellites also don't fully follow the WiFi settings of the main unit & again, ASUS were completely useless, so that remains unresolved.

After trying many different Mesh Devices this is the only kit that worked great across my solid brick home

Utterly useless. I went through the setup process twice to make sure I got it right (that was painful).Unfortunately, it appears as if no devices connect to the mesh network (the app shows no devices connected). This morning's Company wide Teams meeting (the first time I've needed to depend on the internet connection) was an absolute disaster. I missed most of it because the signal kept on dropping out.It was worse than before I had the mesh system.I'm returning these as they make a decent (but not perfect) WiFi set up unusable for anything other than basic low bandwidth connections.I can not recommend this product. It's useless

Works well . Price is a bit higher

The setup is very fiddly and the app is incredibly bad!I had the points disconnecting for no reason even if I left them over night in the same room with the router. Then I had the router sitting there with the white light but no wifi. Then later the router decided turning off by itself for no reason. Now it seems like all is working but my god the vpn client (they call it fusion) is so unintuitive

Enkel installation och bra räckvidd

Our Velop mesh system suffered an unrecoverable crash - apparently after a firmware update.Three Asus nodes are doing the work of 6 Velop nodes in our large old apartment. The installation was super easy and better yet it's been much more stable than our old system, requiring very little tweaking or maintenance. The nodes are less than 1/3 the size of the Velop nodes, so unobtrusive.

Product ordered from/for and delivered to Australia - Australian power plugs were not included with the product - numerous others that cant be used were included.
