For a Logitech C922X this stand works perfectly for a stable tripod after a bit of finding where to balance the legs to the weight of the camera. (Honestly the cord causes more buggery than the stand or camera itself does, but if you manage this well, the cable can improve stability.)Pro:-Easy to put the camera onto this mount.-Has stayed exactly where I left it after getting it set up.-Easy to adjust the height as needed-Easy to put away for moving if needed.Con:-Does not extend as high as I might like it to (stable at 8.5 inches) However Another inch or two would be good.-How light it is works against it. Some weight in the legs (or triangular pads around the feet) would make for very stable pivot without more fidgeting with spacing. But nothing that can't be overlooked once set up.

Bought this less than 9 months ago and used only twice and one leg is already broken. Legs are not strong and easy to come apart! Thought it would last but not that lucky! Don’t recommend if you will use it multiple times! It will not last!

I feel compelled to write this review, because I had a lot of misgivings as I ordered this little table-top tripod, based on several negative reviews. But I was in a hurry, and the mfr photos seemed to refute some of the negative reviews, so I ordered it anyway. I'm using it for an 8-ounce Tascam sound recorder. It's not at all flimsy for something so compact and lightweight. The legs stay firmly in place, and don't tend to spread out. That may change over time, or if you're using a heavier device but there's a little locking rim that easily moves down to keep the legs in place. I'm very pleased with it -- it just a very clever design. Look carefully at the photos next to the product description.
