It fit and it worked fine.
My Stratux started having intermittant loss of GPS after many years of faithful service. This GPS unit fit perfectly and put my machine back into tip top condition. Thank you.

Worked great after rerouting antenna wires.
Had difficulty picking up satellites initially, only picked up a few, and was intermittent reception. I rerouted antenna wires for sdl under the receiver, and now have awesome reception. I am still running the pi 2, and was able to accommodate with the WiFi usb by clipping a bit from the corner of the board on the gps unit.

Excellent accuracy, quick cold-startup. I recommend it!
Good unit, good performance on cold acquisition (fresh power-up after being unplugged for many months), and extremely accurate positioning even while inside a one story stucco-over-chicken-wire house with ceramic roof tiles. The NEMA sentence "$GPTXT,01,01,01,NMEA unknown msg*58" is a little odd... and there are quite a few in a row, but other than this, it appears to be a solid and exceptionally easy-to-use device. I am very pleased with this product!

Works Great for Stratux!
Purchased this to use on a Raspberry Pi 3 Stratux build for use with Garmin Pilot. Stratux recognized the GPYes right away, and I had very accurate GPS data throughout my entire flight in Garmin Pilot. It took about 10 minutes for the GPYes to calibrate itself and establish a GPS fix on first use, but subsequent boots are much quicker. Generally speaking, the longer you leave it turned off, the longer it'll take to get a fix, but after that it works beautifully. By the time you complete your runup, the GPYes is ready to go.

3 times better fix with homemade modification
Great product for the Stratux home build. I like the internal GPS vs external for all the usual reasons. I was getting 30m fix BEFORE a special modification that I made. NOW I getting a 10m fix and much less fluctuations than prior to my add on...and that's on the ground in the backyard. Havent tried it in the plane yet, but prior to the mod I was getting a 30m fix in the air. So what I added was a piece of thin cardboard from a box of coke cans. I carefully wrapped one side of the cardboard with two plys of kitchen aluminum foil. Then slipped the the homemade EMI/RFI shield inbetween the GPS and the SDRs. And what-d-know...it works much better! My thinking was the SDRs were affecting performance even with GPS inserted into the top USB port. The aluminum foil seems to provide an additional shielding. Hope this helps anyone else that's tinkering with their Stratux!

Stopped working after a month
Stopped working after a month. No GPS fix, even after pointing to the open sky for hours.

Works as Advertised.
The GPS worked as stated. I used to make a Stratux. I also installed a shield between it and the radios and was able to go from 6-9meters accuracy to about 3.4m and it had over 19 satellites in solution tracking 30. Would buy again.

Ordered 2 units within one week, both defective and returned.
This is the second unit I ordered in one week and both were defective. I tested with different USB GPS on RPi 3B+ and all units worked perfectly. With Stratux GPYes 2.0, the module would get mode in 3D but Lat/Lon would read 0.00 and EPS would alternate between 1.5 and 160Kts. After numerous reboot, the Lat/Lon would come one but would be frozen, Px would not change even while in a moving car. Seems like a bad batch as I bought a GPYes 2.0 a few months ago and it still working good.

Well worth it.
GPS works well. Works much better when external gps antenna is attached.
