The installation was not hard, and it’s really sturdy.

Pull up bar itself is very sturdy and seemed like it could support the stated weight. Issue is, it came off the jamb when my wife first tried at 115lbs. Putting it back up and tensioning more to better support the weight caused the door jamb itself to pull apart from the jamb header and cracked the paint lines on the trim, as well as it pushed screw hole filler out when the jamb pushed over.Great product but your door jamb better be very solidly constructed and shimmed in to use this with no damage.

I’m 305 pounds and just finished five sets of ten pull-ups and chin-ups on it. Not so much as a creak or a wiggle. Super sturdy. Also love that it still allows the door to be shut when not in use. High quality construction, very easy to install. I liked it so much I ordered another one today and had it shipped to my son. Great product.

Wow, this was frustrating! The item doesn't ship with any instructions, so you're left to guess how to put it together. The item scratched my wall as I was installing it as there are four connection points to the wall, but only two felt pads are included in the box. In addition, as you can see from my above picture, the brackets are offset meaning that in narrow doorways you can't use both brackets. After 30 minutes of attempting to install the item and damaging my paint in my doorway. I'll just return it. Poor Poor design. Poor execution. Lazy process.

The product was stable and sometimes I would swing on it, despite it not being the best idea. When removing the product off from the wall it did peel the paint off and paint got stuck on the grooves of products. Left the product on the door frame for 9 months, until I had to move.

This is a great bar for pull ups, hangs, and to use with bands if you have attachments that fit over the bar. It is easy to install and very very sturdy. Just don't overtighened as it can strip the paint a little when it is too tight. This is a real find.
