I’ve had the ember mug for several years, but as a person who drinks very small amounts at a time I’ve found that I like the cup so much more! The battery lasts longer, and I think it does a better job of keeping the drink at the correct temperature. It works with the same lid and charger too, which has been super convenient. It’s a bit heavier than I expected for the size and the lip is a little thicker than the mug, but it’s still really nice to drink out of.

Perfect size. Keeps drink warm entire time without having to nuke it. Attractive and comfortable shape. Love it.

I really like this product and my household now has four of them but the Bluetooth connection in them is completely broken and it seems it’ll never be fixed. They will basically never seamlessly connect to your phone again after the initial setup so make sure you pick the right settings the first time and just don’t bother with the app again after that. If you ever do need to use the app again then you’re in for 10-15 minutes of trying to get it to connect and half the time it just won’t work at all no matter what dance you do with pairing, unpairing, holding buttons, or toggling settings. I’m a software engineer and I can’t even get it to work usually.Honestly they should be embarrassed that they’ve made such a nice looking product that functions well at its intended purpose of heating coffee but fumbled the software and firmware so badly, and they still haven’t fixed it for version 2. If the software is that impossible for them to get right then for the next version they should just remove Bluetooth and add buttons to adjust the temperature.

Functionality, value for money, coffee temperature.

Wanted to like this cup, but...Max temp is 145 degrees, about 5 degrees cooler thn I like my coffee and...Cup thinks it's empty when it's not, which mean your coffee is getting cold before the app claims the cup is empty and...The last sip is always super hot and...The cup is wide and shallow, so lots of luck stirring sugar or cream without spilling.Glad to see it works for others, just didn't work for me.

I accidentally broke my boyfriend's Ember travel cup and they don't make that model anymore. I was pretty devastated and i gifted him this. He says he likes it better and it's the perfect amount for his morning coffee. Since he works from home, he doesn't even need a travel cup...so maybe I did him a favor. It has a good weight and a sleek design. I love the feel of the cup's material and the overall look is really fantastic. I considered getting myself one for tea but I don't know if I need it - really it's just a beautiful cup. He loves it.

The media could not be loaded. I love the idea of the cup and it works good for coffee and keeping it hot. Up until the problem that I have I would have scored it a five star rating. But I give it a one star rating because of the fact that thisvery expensive product, which had its finish come off on the inside shortly after one year of use, and the manufacturer will not stand behind the product. I followed your instructions. I never use an abrasive item to scrub out the interior of the cup. My big problem is that just passed the one year warranty period I noticed that the interior finish started coming off. Check out the video. I’ve contacted Ember, and they essentially say ‘too bad so sad. We warranty it for one year.’ I pleaded with them… This is dangerous. I must be ingesting part of the finish. Really unhappy with Customer Service and also I am super concerned about anybody who uses the copper finish version.Quite a challenge after investing well over $100 in the product.

I’m the guy that will make an espresso, then get distracted by getting kids out of bed, and fed, also have to feed the dogs, cats, wife, etc. I’ll THEN get back to my espresso that is usually cold.NOT ANYMORE.This ember cup is awesome, my coffee is just as hot as when I made it 30 minutes previously.
