Drawing board A2

My daughter needed a board for her illustration work that she could use as a 'table-top' and store easily when not in use. My experience of Blundell Harling's equipment led me to their range of Drawing Boards, from which the A2 Challenge was her choice. She is absolutely delighted with it. It's easy to use, fold and carry. Well constructed and adjustable it has solved the problem of working in an otherwise difficult environment. It arrived quickly and was well packed by the supplier. All in all, a very good buy.

This drawing board was recommended by my daughter’s university and was substantially more expense than the alternatives therefore I was expecting a quality product, unfortunately the parallel motion is slightly wrapped and does not fit tight to the board. This will make using the board difficult.

I use this regularly and set it up on our dining room table. Its easy to set up and use. (Some reviews say it does not sit in its angle-holder properly and it is true, if you try and use it upside down. Used correctly, it works perfectly.) I tend to draw on A3 size film or paper and it is perfect for this.

This item is more than adequate for my uses ,( drawing board as I tattoo for a living ) If I was an engineering student or architect I may find the slight slackness on the horizontal ruler a bit off a pain , which is the reason I have deducted a star otherwise it would have gotten 5 .The item is as described & what I expected ,is sturdy & has a good ranged of angles ,the base provides more than adequate steadiness ,the way it folds makes it highly portable ,people complaining about the weight are being unreasonable as without the weight there would not be the solid base they expected, so personally I have no real real complaints about this excellent piece of kit .

Having used the same free-standing BH A0 drawing board for 25 years, I know that they make excellent products. Bearing the quality of my original drawing board in mind, I purchased the smaller A2 table top version for its portability. The construction of the board itself is as I would expect, very good and sturdy. It's the parallel motion that lets the product down - big time! There is far too much play. So much so, that any set squares used can slide down, between the board and the straight edge. Very disappointing.

This drawing board is ideal for my Diamond painting so pleased with it. Delivery was excellent as it came earlier than expected. A little bit expensive. Supplier kept me updated with emails regarding different stages of delivery progress I would definitely recommend to friends and family

I bought this for my daughter for her art course and when it came it look really good but when you put the bracket in the inserts, the bracket would this fall out with little movement, so I had it replaced and same thing happened again. There is a design fault to it as the inserts where the bracket go's are not angle or have a locking system. I would 100% keep away from it.

The ruler is wobbly, not really an architect's drawing board because i can't draw precise due to a wobbly ruler
