has anyone tryed to mix two differant shades, and has it worked out okay

I have never tried this but several times was tempted to try it as the colour I used to use was discontinued. I always used a strawberry blonde which is a reddish blonde. I have been using this colour now for a while bit not totally happy. I may try mixing coLouis sometime I the future. A bit drastic though if it doesn't work!
