This thumb brace is EXCELLENT and SUPERIOR to the others sold on Amazon. I purchased five different ones and THIS ONE gives the best overall support and has multiple adjustments available to give stabilization and support to the CMC, wrist and all the joints of the thumb. It feels comfortable and does not dig into my wrist or hand as others have done. It keeps my thumb in perfect position while allowing flexibility and movement of my fingers. It is very easy to put on and gives instant relief of pain. I am surprised that for the inexpensive cost of this brace it is superior in design and comfort than the others that are sold here. I also like the fact that it fits my (very small) hand well and can be adjusted to fit most hands and can be worn on both hands and is not bulky and restraining like some of the others are. I am very pleased with this brand and recommend that you get one and see how outstanding it is!

My 40+ year old thumbs are shot from years of jammed thumbs as a catcher in my teenage years and some volleyball damage, but I still play volleyball roughly weekly. They hyperextend way too easily and I needed a solution to prevent that. These are perfect and cheap and just as good if not better quality than ones 2-3x the price. I wear them on both hand to play. The little strap for the top of the thumb does stretch out easily but I can manage to twist and maneuver it to make it still do its job, and I’ve had that happen with every variation I’ve used. This will NOT prevent jammed thumbs; in fact it may make you more prone because of the immobility, but that’s not a fault of the product and just a byproduct of my use for it. No more accidentally catching a ball and stretching my thumb back too far, which happens to me VERY easily. No issues with the Velcro sticking; the Velcro on the wrist could maybe be a pinch skinnier, though if you’re not being quite as active as I am wearing it, it shouldn’t be an issue.

Good Fit and effective

I have three different trigger thumb splints that I ordered from Amazon, all under $20. Of the three, this one is the most comfortable and the most supportive. It is easy to put on and off and also to adjust with your other hand. The material is kind of a waffle weave and does not show pet hair as bad as most. The 'flame' design over the thumb area does look a bit 'robo-cop ish', but I am used to it. Overall, if you have trigger thumb and it is hurting you like the devil and you need help fast, try this splint. I recommend it.

I like the concept but I've worn it on and off for the last few months and the part where the metal piece goes up the thumb has torn. Now the metal piece won't stay in and keeps slipping out. There needs to be a better option.

In my case, repeated injury to my thumb required time to allow it to heal. Very happy with this brace. It doesn't immobilize the thumb, but just allows it to rest in a comfortable neutral position. Wearing it also reminds me not to do stupid stuff, giving it time to heal. It's comfortable enough to wear 24 hours. Easy on and easy off - so I can shower etc. Also, not too ugly or clinical looking. Finally, I wear it on my left hand, and there was no adjustment necessary to do so - it just works on either hand.

Needed this for my de quervaines or however you spell it. AKA mom thumb. I was smart to buy it here where it costs about $100 less than what the doctor would charge. It's exactly what they would give you. I didn't fix it but it did the job of immobilizing it so it could rest properly. It wasn't too big that I could get my sweatshirt or jacket sleeve over it so that helps. It's not really an inconvenience to wear like most braces, it's just a little tough typing it. If you need it, don't wait. Get this one!

I bought this wrist/thumb brace hoping for some support during work and daily activities, and it has honestly made a huge difference. It’s supportive without feeling bulky or uncomfortable, and the thumb stabilization really helps reduce pain and strain. The material is soft enough to wear for long periods, and the straps are easy to adjust so it feels secure without cutting off circulation. I also like that it fits under most sleeves and doesn’t completely limit movement. Great quality for the price and definitely worth it if you deal with wrist or thumb pain.

I was advised by a physiotherapist to purchase a thumb brace and discovered this one. I received the brace the day after I ordered it and tried it on straight away. Does what it says on the box. Good support.

I have a UCL tear in my thumb joint and have tried various thumb braces from cheap to as expensive as $150. I must say, this brace is as good as those expensive ones. Frankly in some regards better than that. The grip, cushioning, comfort and functionality is so much better than other braces. It is worth every penny.

A bit large on my small hand and wrist but works fine for thumb MCP joint support as I sleep. I like that it comes with plastic and metal inserts to choose your support level. Velcro loop side started getting frayed from day 1 but it still works for now. Not very breathable as my hand is sweaty when I take off the brace in the morning.
