Is'nt this a cheap china knock-off of axe n shield's initiative tracker? this one doesn't even look like the flags turn.

This one looks LIKE A SWORD.... the Name Pegs are rearrangable. My group prefers this. We can use wet erase markers for OUR characters, and then dry erase for the enemies. When we roll initiative, we can quickly throw our pegs up on the sword, and then fill in the enemy pegs. We just remember who went, and reference the intiative tracker for who's next. There are a lot of initiative trackers on the market. I don't feel that this one is a knock-off, as I've not seen others like it. But it's good to find a tracker that works best for your group. :)

After removing the plastic cover from the sword, it no longer will stand up in the slot on its own. Any suggestions? my group loved using it

I used Gorilla Glue in just a tiny dab to permanently bond it. I had assumed that you'd need to use adhesive of some sort to hold it together securely. I mean, you end up messing with it every encounter, so not adhering it would cause issues. It's worked perfectly for my group ever since.

you may be able to contact the maker directly, but not to my knowledge.

If i have many monsters, can you draw on the backs of the flags?

You could, it would just be a lot to keep in mind. My trick would be to usually group monsters (if they are the same) under one flag.

Cool idea, flimsy in principle.

Most likely will be looking to return the item. In principle it is really cool, and as a whole it seems well made with a lovely box etc, but the sword does not fit in the stone properly. It leans at an angle instead of straight up as shown in pictures and doesn't fit fully. The white name pieces as well seem to wobble about far too much due to this. Either I received a dud or stability really needs looking at.
