It does what it says on the box. You need to install the supplied software to make the full use of its functionality. I only gave it 4stars as I think it is quite expensive, but you need a good microphone when you are using dragon dictation software . I have tried with poorer microphones and the error rate is higher.

Excellent product.
Purchased about 5 months ago and was very impressed. The speech recognition works perfectly and its a real time saver.I used this for essays and conferences and it just makes life alot simpler. A little expensive but you get what you pay for.
