Konig FTP Cat6 Shielded Twisted Pair Network Patch Cable on 100m Reel

Wow! what an education. I would never have gone for Foil wrapped but the price was amazingly keen. I just rewired my lab with this stuff and its fantastic (not super-flexible like ordinary stranded) for making reliable cables. Works well with the coloured boots I bought to colour code my networks and gives really good low levels of attenuation over the long run between the lab and the garage!

Best network cable I've owned. Did a 40meters+ installation with best results than those of 2 meters with other cables. The protection on these is also very durable and resistant.The remaining of the cable will be used to redo all my network cables. Definitely recommend it.

This cable is excellent, I found it easy to strip the outer core with the proper tools. I ran it from a ground floor to a 3 story bedroom and the young apprentice had it stripped and RJ45 connectors fitted in no time at all. Lan tested and all worked first time. no loss either 40mbps on ground floor and the same on the third floor.

Exactly as advertised. This is stranded copper cable (not CCA). The cable is foil-shielded under the pvc jacket - FTP (Foil-shielded Twisted Pairs).There is a little too much 'give' under the pvc jacket for it to be a top quality cable (in other words - it feels like the diameter of the jacket is a little larger than it needed to be). And it's not a 'Low smoke' cable. But the number of 'twists' in the pairs is adequate and the plastic cross-section separating the pairs is of a decent thickness (there's a lot worse out there!!).In terms of value, I paid far less than the current price so its hard to give an opinion, but if I needed another reel - would I pay £60 for 100m? Possibly! The price sounds high, but when it comes to Cat 6 cables - confidence in knowing what you're buying counts for something !

This is a good product. The konig shielded twisted pair network patch cable is a durable product and effective; I will recommend this product.
