Highly recommend. ☆☆☆☆☆☆
For a beginner, it's playable and usable right out of the box. The factory setup is spot on for standard student playability. The tremolo bridge is just fine for a student as it comes out of the box. Remember that a student doesn't yet know their desired settings or even if they want full up/down tremolo or just down or a fully fixed bridge. The default factory tremolo setup is perfect for students, fixed without use or they can begin working with down pitch controls to start. If they want up pitch, they can learn to setup the tremolo accordingly. And they certainly don't know how much upward pitch they want with respect to full or half steps at the 1st and 2nd strings etc. So, for those who are giving the tremolo low marks, they're WRONG. The tremolo bridge on this guitar is great and worth learning how to set up and use properly for the players developed style. For intermediate or advanced payers, you will likely want to apply your preferred setups. And this instrument is adjustable to your preferred setups without having to resort to shaving frets, etc. All standard adjustment methods should get this instrument dialed into your preferences, from string action heights, intonation tweaks (per your desired string guage) and the tremolo action settings per your desired guage string. The truss rod is smooth with respect to adjusting neck relief. Remember, different string guages effect neck relief, action response to frets, intonation and tremolo settings. Too many players never learn how to do setups and then proceed to change string guages and complain about action being bad, etc. It's paramount to learn guitar setups, just as important as learning to play is doing setups.I made the adjustment to the bridge for my preferred setup. Now it's a floating bridge with spring tensions that match the string loads and it resets the tuning pretty well after a couple pull ups on the bar to reset after heavy use on the tremolo. The current action height with the factory strings and my tremolo setup is 1.5mm at the 12th fret low E and 1.2mm at the 12th fret High E. The nut has been left factory set thus far as it seemed just fine. You can see the bridge profile image of mine floating and that there's plenty of screw height to adjust down or up in floating position with the action heights I mentioned above. So be assured you've no reason to swap out this tremolo bridge for another, just set it up so it does what you prefer.I attached photos of the spring setting from the factory setup and after setting them to my preferred settings on the tremolo springs. Now it's doing what I expect out of it. You can see my bridge now floats within the bridge profile photo. Yes, I removed one spring and set the third to center and dropped the tensions considerably with proper string tension to spring tensions, hence the high note strings have lower spring tension. With about one step pitch rise on high E with a pull up flat to body. You may want different pitch bend settings and you can get it.So, the versatility of this guitar is really good with respect to mechanical versatility... Which brings us to the next point. The wide range of pickup selections is really incredible, offering a wide spectrum of sound beyond the old standards. I'm not into hot pickups so I lowered all the pickups flat to the pickguard to soften things up. But there again, VERSATILITY is the key word when describing this guitars attributes across the board. The color is awesome and execrly what I was looking for with the pastel teal (they call mint) with a traditional true mint pickguard. The pickguards truer green conjures out that hint of blue in the pastel teal of the body.Construction detail is really good, flawless. It's a great value for the money. One of the top, if not the top strat syle guitar the money spent out there at this time.

Quality Excellent Electric From Ibanez! You'll Be Inspired To Practice And Play A Lot More!!
If I could rate this Ibanez AZES40 Standard and Seller Sims Music higher than 5 Stars I surely would. This guitar is amazing and set-up perfectly right out of the box, plays like butter. The tonal possibilities are well, something else again. Quality fit n finish on this one and the 25" scale is perfect. The fretwork is just great too! This Ibanez was shipped really quick in a double carton with some goodies inside, nice touch. Sims Music is the real deal and I'm really happy to have a new go-to Music Store for my gear and accessories. Thank So Much Sims, 'Appreciate You!

Improper fret placement.
Severe intonation issues at 20 to 22 frets. Worse than my Pacifica 012d which is a much cheaper guitar. Even after proper setup the notes were much sharper. In isolation that's okay but with other music in the background, they weren't in tune. Also the dynamix switch is a gimmick, I couldn't really find a use for it. Someone said that it's those cheaper ibanez gio with more expensive price and it's true.Really liked the colours and looks, didn't like the neck, it felt cheap. Sound okay, subjective.
