I got one of these about a year ago. From the day I got it the manual temperature button has never worked. The baffle clip broke after just a few uses, and parts are crazy prices. In fact the whole thing is overpriced, cheaply made rubbish. I cannot recommend and won't be replacing it when it stops working totally... Which I'm sure won't take long. The most disappointing gadget I ever bought.

I don't think it is worth the money. I contemplated returning it, but I think I was already pass the return window when I started using it. It has provided me with perfectly tempered milk and dark Belgian chocolate. The problem is that it's supposed to have a 1.5 pound capacity. I have yet to get a pound to temper without spilling from the top and onto my granite countertop. I always work with callets,and they are especially hard to keep in the bowl without them crawling up and out. In the directions, it says block chocolate is preferred. I didn't know that before purchasing. Directions aren't the best so I watched youtube tutorials to make sure I understood best practices. For the tiny amount of chocolate that it tempers, and not being able to use callets without spillage, I don't thing it's even close to being worth the $500+ price tag.

I would give it zero star if I could.Absolutely useless. It dose not work as it shown in the videos advertised here and in youtube. I could not return it since it was shipped out of the country . I paid more $400 on the shipment and tax that made the price close to $1000! I paid all of this because I believed their videos.Do not order it. A real waste to money.

Shipping and all were fine. However the product itself is not well made. Overall quality is more like a $100 small appliance and not a $500+ machine. There is already a crack in case after 2 uses, and it arrived and a single screw was missing from the assembly.Additionally it appears to have been designed by an engineer whom knew nothing of food making. There are cracks and crevices directly above the circuit board that are in an area that could easily get dripped on at any time. There was a connection error (we presume) as the error code was not discernible to confirm issue.Would not suggest to anyone.

This item failed after one use. The electronic brain wouldn't work after cleaning and setting up for a second day of chocolate making. Plus the free return promised is misleading.... Amazon charged over $100 for a "restocking fee". They refunded all but the sales tax after I called to complain. I agree with other comments about chocolate crawling out of the bowl if using pieces rather than a block of chocolate.... disappointing product.

Something is seriously wrong with the design of this machine...The first one I ordered would not properly temper, Chocovision said “bad baffle”. So back it went. Replacement unit arrives with the same problem, the unit does not run the proper steps & temps to temper the chocolate correctly.... Do not order .....
