Full disclosure: this is my first induction cooktop. This thing is awesome. I can't believe the amount of control it's giving me while I cook. The included nonstick pan is pretty darned good, too! Things to know: the coil doesn't heat the entire bottom of the included 10-inch pan. It still cooks well, but if you're simmering something to reduce the liquid, you might want to stir a little more than you normally would. This might affect searing huge cuts of meat. (But you should never get nonstick pans that hot anyways. Use cast iron for that.) It has a fan that makes some noise. It's less loud than my range's hood vent, but I'd definitely prefer it to be quieter. Works great with my cast iron skillets, my enameled dutch oven, and my flat-bottomed carbon steel wok. However, my aluminum and copper-bottomed pans will need replacing. That said, I'm going to do that. Induction is the way I want to cook from now on.

Purchased this product as a gift. Man the thing is like magic almost wish we would've purchased an induction stove now. This thing is pretty amazing really it heats stuff up rapidly. In the beginning when it first starts working you can literally remove the pan and touch the burner and it isn't even hot its pretty cool how it works. DON'T TRY IT AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN COOKING A WHILE YOU MAY BURN YOURSELF! Heat from the pan getting hot transfers back to the burner over time but initially that is how it works. The temps on this thing are fairly decent I didn't do any precision testing but it seems as if it works as it should like a burner. I just find it amazing how quickly it works. It was more than just a novelty item we use it a bit more often than I figured we would much like the air fryer we purchased wouldn't go without it.

Nuwave Gold Precision Induction Cooktop is & stays the best if is kind. This one was used but like new. Temperature adjustment, time, boiling, cooking, saved electricity like no other.

I bought this unit to try out induction cooking. I have been pleased with the efficiency and quickness of the stove. I had seen in a number of other reviews that some of the induction cook stoves are quite loud. I did need to buy a smaller pan for cooking smaller portions. Overall, I am enjoying my Nuware cooktop.
