These work if set properly!
These traps are lethal..Here are a few nuggets to help be successful with these traps.#1 boil traps to rid human and foreign scent ! #2 wear latex gloves when handling trap.#3dont leave any room in hole for mole to go around or over.#4place bucket over hole and block all light and air.#5 wait 24 hrs remove dead mole and move to next area. These traps are very effective when used like your trying to trap coyotes.Happy hunting

Hard set up
Have to dig short trench to lay trap in tunnel. Then cover with fine dirt. To much tedious set up. To much work and can't see it after its set. Have to dig it up to see if you have anything. Plus leaves a pid in your yard.

Haven't caught one yet
The mole traps are well constructed and have strong springs. I can't say they work well at this time since I haven't caught any but that may be do to the terrain of our yard. The moles are close to the surface so the traps are barely under the top of the soil and probably heat up from the sun and maybe the moles can detect that, not sure. The other issue may be that the moles are searching for food and not going back through their tunnels. I will continue to try them out and have other kinds of traps but thought these might work better but no luck at this time.

High quality traps
These are mad3 very well they just don’t work because the tunnels are usually not straight so it’s hard to set a straight trap in a crooked tunnel of all the traps I’ve tried these I have not caught any not one mole so for this reason I’m giving them a two star.

It works, if you study your enemy
Over 6+ months we tried 3 other types of traps and 3 types of deterrents before this trap. Our nemesis (gopher) ignored all we tried, even with careful deployment. After watching a couple of university extension videos and an older gentleman from the UK on how to set up this style of trap, we bought them. Within 24 hours we caught the first gopher, none have returned (yet). Setup: you must find the main runway and set these traps in the runway (not on top!). We dug out an area ~10" long x 2.5-3" wide and about 10” deep to set the trap in the runway. Wear gloves to avoid scenting the trap and bend the ‘loop’ to fit the runway. After setting the trap, cover the hole with sod to avoid noise and light intrusion. These traps look 'cheap' and inexpensive, but when set up properly they work great for our situation.

I'm on the fence!
It seems to be a well constructed idea. I guess i haven't quite got the hang of it yet. Tried all 4 traps and they aboneded the trench. The moles dug one of them up out of the ground. Never tripped. It looked like a good tool on YouTube

These are the worse traps! No directions comes with it ! I had to look it up ! doesn't even work with the Moles ! Waste of money ! We ended up not using it because it doesn’t even work to get these moles ! Don’t buy it does not work what so ever we kept trying n trying ! Ended up trashing this .

The real deal.
These traps are strong and easy to set, and they will trip easily when tweaked. The difficult part is preparing the mole run and placing them correctly. Once that is done, the moles don't have a chance. I've used all the types of traps made, and this is the only type that is reliable. If you are serious about eliminating moles, and take the time to learn where and how to set them, these will work for you. The other types are just complicated toys that rarely catch moles.
