OXO Good Grips Reusable Lint Roller

Absolutely great product. I have dogs that shed like crazy and using typical lint rollers was becoming rather expensive. I decided to give this a shot and it has been great. It does a great job at removing fur from clothing and is small enough to keep in a travel bag or briefcase. I don't agree with the reviews saying it doesn't remove pet hair. Just remember to open and close the device often while using it to trap the fur in the base (as it's designed to do). This will ensure that it stays effective. It doesn't take any more effort than constantly peeling layers off a typical lint roller. You really can't beat it for the price.

I have 2 Samoyeds who shed like crazy - lint rollers are a must have. I even prefer these reusable ones compared to the sticky ones, they honestly work just as well if not better for dog hair. Maybe not as well for tiny lint or dust, but that’s not what I need them for.We keep them in the house, in the cars, and in all my purses lol. Bought this one to keep in my purse as it is more compact. Has worked great for me! Would recommend.

I struggle with cat hair everywhere especially on work clothes. I got this one because it's portable and you don't need a trash can if one isn't available. For the most part it picks up the little hairs but the function of it putting that clump of little hairs to the bottom for easy cleaning is a little nonfunctional. It functions but the hair won't go all the way to the bottom. I guess because it is a small amount that I pick up. It could work perfectly if it was a larger amount of hairs. I'm not mad about it though, I'm still going to use it because it's better than wasting those paper ones all the time.

I had a lint brush already (never have to go through 3 lint roller sheets on one article of clothing ever again) but I wanted a more portable one to keep in the car. When I opened this I was really disappointed. For some reason I thought the brush part was removable. It's not, so the base sort of becomes the handle while you're using it. However, the brush isn't solidly fixed into the base so it's kind of wobbly. The brush area is pretty small and it's only on one side. Also the base is a lot fatter than the brush, so sometimes the brush area close to the base doesn't even touch the surface you're cleaning unless you really press in, especially if it's something flat. And then somehow, if I accidentally brush the wrong way (which is bound to happen while I'm cleaning the back of my shirt), the whole wad of lint comes off right onto the clothes and I have to make sure to pick it back up. I usually have to stop to clean the brush halfway through one article of clothing. It does take several pumps to clean it well, but it doesn't quite get the very top of the brush. Also, the lint doesn't just fall out like the videos. You have to pull it out and some of it stays caught inside. I originally wanted to return it, but the other portable, self-cleaning lint brushes look like they have the same design so there's no point.

This lint brush removes hair and lint flawlessly, and when you close it, it sucks it up into the top where you can pick it out. Some engineer spent a lot of time designing this thing.

The media could not be loaded. It doesn’t pick up lint! I’ve tried it on clothes & furniture. I bought it specifically for dog fur, it fails. I’m sad because it’s easy to use and I wanted to be less wasteful. Oh well.

I normally use a regular hairbrush-sized red lint remover with the arrows on either side indicating which way. I like the idea of lint remover I could carry in my purse, to periodically use in my car or on my clothes. I have had a very good experience with other OXO products in the kitchen. I like the features that you could close this, it was relatively petite, and I thought in the description it said you could use it either way and that it was self-cleaning. I think the idea is when you take the tool in and out of the holder, it somehow removes the picked-up lint? Conclusion: this was ineffective to remove lint, fuzz, hair, etc. I tried many times and different ways. It's possible I'm missing some crucial feature of use, otherwise I have to say this thing stinks. Unlike OXO's typically strong reputation. Trash can.

I have an incredibly clingy ragdoll mix and her hair, fine and white, gets all over everything… especially dark work pants. Small enough to fit in a backpack or a purse (but still quite substantial, as expected from OXO), this will, if you are patient and frequently use that satisfying slide feature to de-fur the roller, remove every last one. I no longer carry half of my cat with me to work! It’s a miracle tool.
