Great Pick up
I bought this to fit to my 1971 Washburn D10. I have a similar pick up fitted to a Martin Acoustic, and was pleased with the sound of that. This pick up gives a great sound. It is not easy to get an acoustic guitar sounding like an acoustic when plugged in, but this does it brilliantly. I have started gigging with this in favour of the Martin.I got it fitted by a professional luthier, and he had to alter the groove on the saddle to accommodate the thin bar pick up. Not a job I would recommend anyone tries, unless they are pretty good at this type of job.

Good quality sound
Very nice sound, clear and easy to install fitted to my old Ramirez classical guitar, had problems securing the battery and wires as the adhesive pads supplied was not good enough, Fishman need to improve on this minor detail

Expensive and fidly to install but ok
The stock piezo pickup on my Faith Venus was getting a bit flaky and to replace it and improve on the sound I tried this one. The sound was an improvement although you still can't get rid of the 'quack' totally. The tone control and EQ switch don't do a great deal to modify the sound IMO. You'd have more control with the EQ in your amp. Having said that the sound is mellower than that produced from the stock pickup. The thing that really let this pickup down IMO was the mount fittings for the volume and tone unit. You get a choice of two - equally useless in my opinion. There's some small amount of adhesive on the mounting surface, but this is weak and the contact surface very small and it had no chance of sticking to the unvarnished wood of the inside of the soundhole. You would have to do a bit of a DIY job to prepare the surface and maybe use some strong glue. The support person at Fishman suggested I try that. It's not a plug and play solution anyway. Even when you would fix it with glue, the pressure you put on the little EQ switch is pushing on an unsupported part of the unit and would easily dislodge it in time. I resorted to sticking it on the outside for now. The suggested location of the battery holder is on the neck join inside the soundhole. Having installed it there, and I don't see any better place to put it, it's a challenge to undo the velcro pouch and get at the battery without slackening off the strings. I would say to do a proper job of installing this prepare to do some DIY to your guitar.

Easy to install with a little care and amplifies the ...
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Easy to install with a little care and amplifies the acoustic guitar with little or no distortion. It still sounds like an acoustic guitar only louder, which is the object of the exercise.

Very pleased
Worth swatting up on the internet though before drilling holes in your guitar as the supplied instructions aren't particularly detailed. I imagine these pick ups are usually fitted by 'professionals', however it was really easy to fit and sounds great.

Noticeable improvement and amp connectivity
Brought for an acoustic guitar, it was decided to ask a professional to fix some minor guitar issues (caused by an accidental drop). The final result after fitting was a noticeable improvement and amp connectivity.

Great pickup, nice and natural sounding
I was looking at this vs an LR Baggs ibeam under bridge pickup, but opted for this since feedback resistance ranks high up my list of requirements. It was pretty easy to install, my guitar already had an endpin hole so the only hole I had to drill was the saddle/transducer hole. All in all took around an hour allowing for trial and error.Balance is pretty good, and the sound is great. On the "flat" setting it's a little dull sounding, but turning up the tone control lets you find a spot where it sounds just like your guitar does unplugged, just louder.Good feedback resistance.Overall I'd rate it 9/10 as if you had to drill out a hole for the endpin it would be quite fiddly, and the balance is perfect with fingerpicking but there is I'd say for strumming or flatpicking the top e string is a little quieter than the neighbouring b string.Other than that ticks all the boxes and it costs a lot less than any of the blend systems
